Nowadays it is still a popular destination due to its beautiful scenery of the mountain and the valleys surrounding. Moreover, Sa Pa is the home to several Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority groups, each with their own distinctive dress, customs and dialects. Sapa is also renowned for its trekking. With Vietnam’s highest peak, Fansipan Mountain (3,143 meters) provides the perfect backdrop for some great treks. Special is Muong Hoa valley.
