The wondrous Ha Long Bay is truly one of Viet Nam’s most impressive sights. This exciting cruise will provide a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery and some 3,000 limestone islands rising from the clear water. The stunning limestone karst formations are scattered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way, we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and a visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. Overnight on the cruise.

Day 3: Ha Long – Ha Noi – Lao Cai (B/L/-) – by overnight train – 8 hours

Pass By: Hanoi, Hanoi
After breakfast, enjoy some swimming or sunbathing. After lunch, return to Ha Noi.
In the evening, transfer to Ha Noi train station to catch overnight train to Lao Cai. Overnight on the train.

Day 4: Lao Cai – Sapa (B/L/D)

Stop At: Sapa, Sapa, Lao Cai Province
Arrive early at Lao Cai station, near the Chinese border. Our guide will greet you and take you on a scenic one-hour drive. From there we will take a short 30-minute journey south toward Muong Hoa Valley. The walk takes you from Lao Chai Village of the Black H’Mong Minority to the Ta Van Village of the Giay Minority with a stop at the local Catholic Church, taking in the different traditions, cultures and costumes of the two minority groups. Have dinner. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 5: Cat Cat Village – Lao Cai – Ha Noi (B/L/D) – by overnight train – 8 hours

Stop At: Sapa, Sapa, Lao Cai Province
Sapa has always been famous for its breathtaking scenery and tranquil air. Enjoying the Sapa view when trekking to Cat Cat village in the morning is indeed your first reward. You will have a chance to enjoy Cat Cat waterfall, admire giant water wheels, visit the H’ mong house, learn the H’ mong culture and practices, taste the H’ mong wine, experience the H’ mong foods.

Day 7: Hoi An City Tour – My Son Sanctuary (B/L/-)

Stop At: My Son Sanctuary, Duy Phu Vietnam
We will begin our day trip with a visit to the capital and religious center of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son, which has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Beautifully situated in a lush green valley, there are dozen of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and the 13th century. It presents a vivid picture of spiritual and political life in an important phase of the history of South-East Asia.

Have lunch at a local restaurant in Hoi An then, we will discover the city of Hoi An on foot. The historic town, which used to be a prosperous seaport city from the 16th to 18th century, is now a wonderful city that cannot be missed while touring the Southeast Asian region. While walking through the city, we will make a few stops to visit Hoi An Museum, many of the town’s renowned Ancient Houses which boast remarkable architecture, Assembly Halls of Chinese influence; Art Craft Manufacturing Workshop and of course the must-see Japanese Covered Bridge. Day 8: Foodie Tour – Marble Mountains (B/L/-)

Stop At: Hoi An, Hoi An, Quang Nam Province
Discover Hoi An’s countryside and its local foods by bicycle. Local foods in Hoi An are known and enjoyed by the tourists once setting foot here. In Hoi An, these cuisines are very popular and sold everywhere in all streets. Moreover, these cuisines are considered as unique symbols for the culture and introduced to every tourist. We will ride to a local restaurant for Hoi An specialty – Cao Lau. We then bike through the countryside to a Tra Que Village. You will also learn how to make special “white rose” dumpling cakes with a local family and taste your products. Continue riding to Cam Nam to enjoy the Yin and Yang food such as: Banh Dap (“cracked or smashed rice pancake”), Che Bap (“corn and coconut sweet soup”).

Day 9: Hoi An – Hue Heritage (B/L/-)

Stop At: Hue, Hue, Thua Thien – Hue Province
Head to Hue, along the North coast of Da Nang to the top of Hai Van Pass where bunkers remaining from the war can be explored. Upon arrival in Hue, we will visit the Citadel, Hue’s prime attraction,.
We will have a short break for lunch then
take a boat trip on the Perfume River with a stopover at Thien Mu Pagoda, which is an active Buddhist monastery with its origins dating back to 1601. One of its most poignant displays is a car belonging to a former monk, who in 1963, drove to Sai Gon and set himself alight to protest against the South Vietnamese regime and its cruel treatment of Buddhist monks and followers. We finally visit the serene Khai Dinh Royal Tomb, designed to blend in with its natural surroundings and built on principles of feng-shui. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 10: Ba Na Hills and Golden Bridge (B/L/-)

Ba Na is one of the most interesting areas in the region as often one can feel the four distinct seasons within a single day: morning – spring, noon – summer, afternoon – autumn and evening – winter. You will have a chance to visit Golden Bridge which is a 150-meter long pedestrian bridge with two giant stone hands supporting the structure. It is designed to connect the cable car station with the gardens and to provide a scenic overlook and tourist attraction. We can enjoy the view of the beautiful landscape of nature comfortably and smoothly. Past the Golden Bridge, and into the center of a charming (and very Epcot-like) French village, complete with French Gothic-style cathedral, French restaurants, cobblestoned streets and impressive French gardens. There are many more places in Ba Na Hills to explore including Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda, Le Jardin Garden, Tinh Tam Garden, Nghinh Phong Peak and Vong Nguyet Hill. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 11: Cham Island Discovery & Snorkeling (B/L/-)

Stop At: Cham Island, Cham Island, Quang Nam Province
After a 30-minute boat ride, you will arrive at Cu Lao Cham, a large area that consists of several small islands about 25 nautical miles off the coast. Here you will enjoy the fresh atmosphere of the sea with clean white sand, cool water and beautiful scenery and get the chance to view the daily activities of the residents in the fishing village. Cham Island has also been a trading port of Cham’s Kings and foreign countries and is recorded in many historical books of Vietnam.
We will enjoy and relax at Lang Beach where we will visit interesting places such as Au Thuyen – a shelter for boats in bad weather, the ancient Hai Tang Pagoda before going for snorkeling. Snorkelling gives you the chance to observe the colorful shells and stones and twinkling coral reefs creating fanciful underwater gardens with hundreds of millions of species of fish and tropical sea-creatures of Cham Island Biosphere Reserve. Day 13: Hoi An – Da Nang – Nha Trang City Tour in the afternoon (B/-/-) – by flight – 1 hour

Pass By: Nha Trang, Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa Province
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Da Nang International airport to go to Nha Trang. Upon arrival at Cam Ranh airport, pick up and transfer to the hotel. Check in and relax.

In the afternoon, begin with a trip to XQ Hand Embroidery Factory, where you can watch how wonderfully intricate, hand woven fabrics are carefully crafted; the perfect place to purchase souvenirs that portray beautiful scenes of Vietnamese culture.
Next stop is Long Son Pagoda, which was founded in the 19th century and is a beautiful example of classic Buddhist architecture. The 14-meter-high Buddha statue that sits atop this site is visible from afar as one enters the city, and has great views of the city and surrounding countryside.
The final leg of our tour will take you to view some ancient Cham architecture at Cham Ponagar temple complex. Locally referred to as Thap Ba, this set of ancient Cham temples is beautifully located on a hill just outside the city, and is reached by crossing the Cai River. Learn about the fascinating ancient civilization of the Hindu-worshipping Cham people as you wander around the lovely temple grounds. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 14: Nha Trang – Island Discovery (B/L/-)

Stop At: Nha Trang, Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa Province
After picking you up at your hotel we’ll start the day with a boat trip to Tri Nguyen Aquarium, which is located on Hon Mieu Island. The aquarium features an abundance of fascinating marine life including coral, sea tortoises, seahorses, stingrays and lobsters. Next on the agenda is a trip to Hon Mun island, characterized by picturesque natural scenery and clear turquoise waters all year round. Hon Mun is famous for being the first Marine Protected Area in Vietnam and is home to the most diverse collection of coral reefs in Vietnam (up to 1500 species). After Mun Island we’ll continue on to beautiful Mot island, famous for its lovely beach and the perfect place to stop for lunch. Feast on excellent dishes, with the option of treating yourself to a cocktail from the floating bar.
The last stop of the day will be at Tranh mini-beach. After your island tour we’ll take you back to your hotel. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 15: Nha Trang – Da Lat City Tour in the afternoon (B/L/D) – by car – 3 hours

Have breakfast at the hotel then depart for Da Lat. We will travel from Nha Trang to Da Lat by the shortest route connecting romantic Da Lat and the coastal city of Nha Trang, which is also one of the most beautiful roads in Vietnam. Check in at the hotel and relax.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Crazy House, so named for the surreal architecture that makes it resemble something between a Disney Castle and a kid’s adventure playground, but this one’s for grown-ups too!. A few minutes from the Crazy House is Bao Dai’s Summer Palace, where the last Vietnamese King, Bao Dai resided in the summertime with his family. After that, we will also visit Domaine de Marie Monastery and Lam Vien Square. Overnight in Da Lat.

Day 16: Da Lat flower city & Waterfall tour (B/L/D)

We will take a ride to Lang Biang Mountain and go trekking to the top of Lang Biang. After the physical, but fun, trek to the top of the mountain. We will continue visiting Robin Hill where you will be able to see the rest of Da Lat from a high vantage point. We then visit Datanla waterfall which is so breath taking, so beautiful by nature and you may have few rappels, water slide, jump from a rock, zipline. Continue visiting Clay Tunnel, Truc Lam Zen monastery. At Truc Lam Zen monastery, you will have chance to experience life of Buddists, daily life’s activities of monks and nuns: chanting, repentance, meditation, listen to Dharma talk (in Vietnamese), etc as well as enjoy wild and natural landscapes where monk generations choose to be their training place. Overnight in Da Lat.

Day 18: Cu Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B/L/-)

Stop At: Cu Chi Tunnels, Phu Hiep TL15 Phu Hiep, Ho Chi Minh City 700000 Vietnam
Start the day with a visit to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels. Stretching over 250 kilometers, Cu Chi is one of the most famous and historical aspects of war in Vietnam. The tunnel system was created in 1948 to assist the Viet Minh as they fought the French for independence and became legendary during the 1960s in playing a vital role in the Vietnam War by allowing the Viet Cong (communist guerrillas) to control large rural areas, just 65 kilometers away from Ho Chi Minh City. This system of tunnels consists of hospitals, rooms, kitchens, store areas, and working rooms underground. This tunnel was excavated in the area with clay mixing with laterite. So this tunnel is rather durable and stable. The air is transferred to the tunnels through ventilation holes.

Day 19: Mekong Delta – Cai Be floating market (B/L/-)

Stop At: Cai Be, Cai Be, Tien Giang Province, Mekong Delta
The day will begin with a two-hour ride from Ho Chi Minh City to Mekong Delta. Upon arrival, we will take a boat cruise to visit Cai Be Floating Market.
At the floating market, you can watch locals aboard their small boats trading fresh goods and local commodities. We will stop over at a local house where we can see how they make coconut candy, rice-paper, rice-pop corn and rice wine. Leave Cai Be for Tan Phong Islet where the maze of shady creeks will surely fascinate you, take a rowing-boat in a small channel. You will have a chance to spend time, enjoying traditional music and tropical fruits. Have a traditional lunch at a local house, including the popular dish of ‘Elephant-Ear Fish’.
