Itinerary
Day 1: Ta Phin village
Stop At: Ta Phin Village, Ta Phin, Sapa Vietnam
Your tour begins early, your guide picking you up at 9:00 AM from your hotel in Sapa. Heading north, you’re bound for the terraced rice fields carved directly into the lush mountains. As you amble through the valley, your guide will tell of the centuries-long history of the Hmong people who have been utilizing this traditional approach to farming for over 300 years. If you’re interested, you can even try your hand at harvesting some rice with a group of local farmers to get a real taste of local life.
After dining on Hmong specialties at a popular local restaurant, you’ll head to the Ta Phin Valley to explore a village inhabited by the Red Dao people, famous for their intricate and handcrafted traditional clothing. You’ll spend the night with a local family, this priceless experience granting an unfiltered view into a rich and storied culture.

Day 2: Trung Chai village
Stop At: Ta Phin Village, Ta Phin, Sapa Vietnam
After breakfast the next morning, you’re off to another day of cultural immersion and sublime vistas. You’ll drive to Trung Chai village, renowned for its panoramic views, and stop for a picnic lunch. Walking through more picturesque rice fields, you’ll stop in Chu Lin village, to discover the life and customs of a small Hmong tribe.
After pausing to take in more of the serene views, you’ll head back to Sapa, no doubt filled with reverence and respect for the diverse cultures of the region.
