08h00: Our guide and car will pick you up at your hotel in Hue central, then start to visit:
– An Dinh Palace: Located by the bank of An Cuu canal, An Dinh Palace used to be the private residence of Nguyen Phuc Buu Dao (later the king Khai Dinh). This construction was renovated in modern style between 1917-1919 and officially became the residence of the crown-prince Vinh Thuy (later Bao Dai king).

Stop At: Gia Long Tomb, 9H6W+PP8, Hương Thọ, Hương Trà, Thừa Thiên Huế, Vietnam
– The Tomb of Emperor Gia Long: Gia Long is the first emperor of Nguyen Dynasty. His tomb is a complex of several royal tombs including the tomb of his mother, the tomb of himself and his wives, and tombs of other royal family’s members. This complex was mainly built in 6 year, from 1814 to 1820.

Stop At: Hue Imperial City (The Citadel), Hue Vietnam
Have lunch at the local restaurant.
After lunch, we continue to visit:
– The Imperial City: a walled enclosure within The Citadel. Thousands of workers were ordered to build the walled citadel and ringing moat, measuring some 10 kilometers long. The original earthwork was later reinforced and faced with brick and stone resulting in two meter-thick ramparts.
