The Imperial City is the most important historical and cultural sight, occupies a prominent place in the middle of the city. It look like a walled fortress and palace belonged to the ancient city of Hue which was a capital city of the Nguyen Dynasty (13 kings) for 140 years dating back from 1805 until 1945. Visiting the complex of The Imperial City, you will admire many of magnificent palaces and temples . With magnificent beauty and excellent palace architecture, you will surely enjoy the journey to visit.

The tomb is surrounded by natural landscape, so this is a perfect combination of manmade and natural beauty in Hue. Visitors to this museum will admire to the lost splendor of the various imperial dynasties that molded the ancient days of the country. Some of the notable pieces in its collection include artifacts from the Nguyen Dynasty. The collections from this era date back as early as 1802.
