Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Định Môn, Hương Thọ, Tx. Hương Trà, Thừa Thiên Huế, Vietnam

Pick up at your hotel at 7:00 am
Transfer to Dinh Mon village where you will start your excursion by taking bicycle/motor ride or going on foot to the Gia Long Tomb area (about 1km) to visit 6 spots in the tomb complex to learn about the unique transcendent landscape design of the tomb.
Our English-speaking guide and local guide will lead you through the history and landscape of the area where you will have a chance to observe the local villagers cultivating rice on the fields in the traditional ways.
Around 11:00 am, return to the village to enjoy the traditional cooking with local organic food grown by the villagers and have a traditional lunch at a villager’s home.
13:00: After lunch and a short break, join a trekking to Thien Tho mountain which is located right in front of the emperor’s tomb and functions as the tomb’s screen. From the mountain top, you will have a view to the mighty historical complex of Gia Long Tomb and enjoy the picturesque setting of the lake highlighted with small islets. Riding on bamboo rafts or boats among islets in the lake is also part of our offer.
15:00 Leave the mountain for the village where you will have a refreshment with local drinks, then experience making herbal essential oil to bring home as a souvenir.

Stop At: Kim Long, Huế, Thua Thien Hue, Vietnam

17:00 Transfer to Mangosteen Garden in Kim Long where you will have a herbal footbath under 5 mangosteen trees and enjoy seasonal local fruits as well as our hand-made herbal tea. After the footbath, you will also be served dinner with the Hue specialties – “Cơm hến” (Rice with clams) and bánh cuốn” (fresh spring rolls) and traditional sticky rice wine brewed with royal flowers. We will send you back to your hotel at around 8:00 pm to end the tour.
