The Hai Van tunnel, the longest tunnel in Southeast Asia at 6.28 km, lies on Highway 1 between the two cities of Da Nang and Hue in central Vietnam.
The view from this mountain pass can overlook Truong Son mountain range and the South China Sea fantastically. Please look at a fort of the 19th century in the top of the mountain pass and enjoy the view from the superb view spot.
There is also the rest station of the sightseeing bus and many souvenir shops located around here.
We will drive to Da Nang across this scenic mountain ridge.

The road starts down the slope, down to Hue city. Viewed from above, the road looks like a thread winding with many turns causing us to feel endless road. But just when you start to lose hope, the car flies around the last turning point and a spectacular landscape unfolds before your eyes: Lang Co beach and fishing village. Whether it is midway or the last point of the trip, Lang Co is the great address of the Hai Van Pass. From here onwards, on the plain streets, you can comfortably admire the picturesque rice fields and tranquil villages along the two roads leading to Hue City.
