What to Expect When Visiting Hue, Thua Thien – Hue Province, Vietnam
The tour takes you to a real action-packed adventure in Phong Nha National Park. Visit the well preserved Dark Cave with flash light, bath in natural mud, zipline, swimming (seasonal) and go kayaking. If you are young and adventurous, this tour is designed for you and will bring you one of the best memories of Vietnam.
In the morning:
6:30 – 6:50 am: The guide and bus will pick up you at your hotel in Hue City. Depart for Phong Nha National Park in Quang Binh to discover Chay River and Dark Cave. On the way, stop briefly at La Vang Holly Land (It’s called Basilica of Vietnam Catholic) and find the source of the legend of the apparition in 1798. Return to the bus, the guide will present to you the story of Quang Tri Old Citadel (without stopping by), which was built in 1824 and the fierce battle of 81 days and nights has made well-known all over the world.
While still on the bus, the guide tell the tales about some other places such as: Hien Luong bridge – Ben Hai River , 17 Parallel (Demarcation line separated 2 South – North for 20 years from 1954 – 1973)…
12:00 pm: Arrive at Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. Have lunch at restaurant.
In the afternoon:
1:00 pm: Visit Chay River – Dark Cave, Visitors will enjoy a 400m zip-line from the wildlife observation tower to the entrance of Dark Cave with safety equipment including helmet and life vest.
At the end of the zipline, you will swim to the entrance of the cave and start your real exploration adventure under the instruction of a well-trained guide. Once entering the cave, you will keep walking to enjoy the mud bath in the complete darkness before heading out. With some free time, you might be able to join other games like kayaking or swimming around the lake.
3:30 pm: Return to Hue City.
7:30 pm: Arrive in Hue City and drop you off at your hotel. The tour concludes.
