What to Expect When Visiting Hoi An, Quang Nam Province, Vietnam

Itinerary
Day 1: Hoi An – Quang Ngai Province
Stop At: My Lai Massacre – Son My Memorial, Tinh Khe, Son Tinh District, Quang Ngai Vietnam
In the morning, 08:00am our tour guide and driver will pick you up at hotel lobby. Depart to Quang Ngai Province. The tour guide will introduce you about a small province in central Vietnam with a colorful culture and magnanimous history.
Upon arrival, visit vestige area of My Lai Massacre. You will start to visit My Lai Museum for learning about the war in this area in the past. Our guide will help you explore a famous history event was happen here in 1968. By many stories and photos, you can have a right vision about Vietnam War and understand the value of independence and freedom.
Continue to see the complex of Massacre with monument. The House of Evidence where documents, photos, and objects which testify to the massacre such as shirts, a pair of sandal of a killed child, all kinds of cups and plates, cookers and pans holed by cartridge, and wooden bells used for reciting prayers.

In the afternoon, transfer to visit Thien An Pagoda on Thien An Mountain. This pagoda was built in 1695 and was recognized as national pagoda in 1717 under the reign of Nguyen Phuc Chu Lord. Our guide will introduce you some philosophies in Buddhism and tell you 2 most famous stories about Buddha Well & God Bell in Thien An Pagoda. Taking a short walk to enjoy panorama view of Quang Ngai City & Tra Khuc River from high position.

Day 2: Rural Life Experience in Phuoc Lam Village
Stop At: Quang Ngai, Quang Ngai, Quang Ngai Province
In the morning, after have breakfast, depart to Phuoc Lam Village – A small village in Nghia Hanh District. Upon arrival, visit a local family, enjoying welcome drink. Our guide will help you to know a day of local people here. After greeting, start a new day like local people with many activities:
– Feeding chickens, ducks, pigs and ox.
– Leading ox to grass field
– Cutting sweet potato green and sell at market.
– Buying food for lunch & prepare lunch for whole family
– Bathing for pigs and ox
– Collecting ripe fruits
Have lunch with local family.
In the afternoon, depart to visit a school in village. Giving present for students and learn some single words in Vietnamese. Have soft meal with local specialties. Farewell with local family before back to Hoi An.
