Stop At: Linh Ung Pagoda, Bai But, Da Nang 550000 Vietnam

The Giant Lady Buddha Statue, the tallest one in Việt Nam, which is located at Linh Ung Pagoda on Sơn Trà Peninsula in Đa Nang. The statue sits on the mountains facing the sea with 17 floors in the statue lặp, each floor has an altar with 21 Buddha statues which have different shapes, facial expressions and postures.

Stop At: The Marble Mountains, Hoa Hai, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang 550000 Vietnam

Then, we will take you to visit Marble Mountains, which are five marble and limestone hills named after the five elements: Metal, Water, Wood, Fire and Earth. From Marble Mountains you can get great city and ocean views and we will explore the natural caves in the mountain and visit the holy pagoda. Your guide will tell you all about the significance of these mountains both spiritually and historically.

Stop At: Hoi An Ancient Town, Hoi An 560000 Vietnam

After Marble Mountains, we will take you to the world famous city of Hoi An, which is a recognised World Heritage site, located along Thu Bon River. The ancient town has remained unchanged for centuries. Hoi An used to be the international trading port of Champa Kingdom where a wide range of goods were imported and exported, including wood, gold, silk. During this period, Hoi An was the site of trade fairs that attracted lots of merchants from Holland, Portugal, Japan and China, bringing their goods and purchasing goods from the area. In the 18th century, after the river became shallow, Da Nang replaced Hoi An as the trading port.

On the walking tour of the old town, your tour guide will take you to the Japanese bridge, a traditional house, a Chinese Assembly Hall, a cultural and historical museum and the market, along the way explaining the history and architectural features of the buildings.

After our walk, we will take you to a lovely local restaurant for a Vietnamese set menu lunch.

Stop At: My Khe Beach, Da Nang Vietnam

On the way back to the ship, we will stop at My Khe Beach (the R&R beach where US marines landed in and stayed during Viet Nam War.

We will ensure that you will get back to the ship one hour before the ship leaves the port.
