Stop At: My Son Sanctuary, Duy Phu Vietnam
Known as the “Valley of Kings,” My Son was designated as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. The ruins are considered to be Champa’s counterpart to the other grand cities of Southeast Asia’s Indian-influenced
civilizations with a cluster of deserted and partially ruined Hindu temples and towers that were constructed between the 4th and 14th centuries AD by kings of Champa Kingdom.
You will be met at your hotel by your guide and driver for the tour at 7:30 – 8am and from here you will drive approximately 1 ½ hours to the site of My Son where, with the assistance of your guide who will point out and discuss the significance of areas and artifacts on the site you will discover the legendary complex of royal towers and temples. You will have the opportunity to watch a Cham musical performance before you board your transfer back Hoi An

Kim Bong Carpentry Village has been established since the 16th century, the village which originated in the north of Vietnam, has had its artisans work on furniture and houses across the country, from prominent buildings in Hanoi to Hue citadel and royal tombs or most of the architectural projects in Hoi An’s heyday. Enjoy a leisurely bicycle ride in the village as you learn why the style of Kim Bong Carpentry is said to be the excellent combination of Cham kingdom, China, Japanese… and of course the talented hands of Vietnamese craftsmen. You will return from the village by boat.
