Built between 1925 and 1932, Vietnam National Museum of History was formerly home to the École Française d’Extrême-Orient. This architecturally impressive museum has a blend of Chinese and French design elements.

In here preserving more than 7,000 precious objects, some aged thousand years old which represent the cultural diversity of the country. Exhibit highlights include bronzes from the Dong Son culture (3rd century BC to 3rd century AD), Hindu statuary from the Khmer and Champa kingdoms, jewelry from imperial Vietnam, and displays relating to the French occupation and the Communist Party.

Besides Vietnamese origin objects, it consists of objects from other culture like China, Japan, Thailand. Here, you’ll gain a better understanding of Vietnamese history from the earliest time until recently.

We’ll then move to the next destination which is the Vietnam Women’s Museum.

This excellent modern museum showcases Vietnamese women’s significant contributions to the nation’s development, culture and society. The Museum is also a center for cultural exchange with women from other nations with the goal of fostering ‘equality, development and peace’.

They’re up to 25,000 objects displayed in the museum which were divided into three thematic displays: Women in Family, Women in History and Women’s Fashion.

The Museum’s collection features historical and contemporary objects which illustrate and reflect the lives and roles of Vietnamese women in society. It also gives insight into Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups, addressed through the lens of women’s issues.

After visiting the excellent Vietnam Women’s Museum, we’ll then head to the next one which is the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum. This is a national museum established by the Vietnamese government to preserve and present the country’s artistic treasures.

The museum building itself is an artistic work of architecture. It is a combination of old French-style architecture with traditional architectural elements of Vietnamese communal houses.

The museum displays not only paintings, sculptures, ceramics and lacquers created by modern Post-war artists but many of its contents date back as far as pre-historic and feudalism time including different forms of religious sculptures, folk paintings and ceramics.

After that, we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant with the traditional cuisine of Vietnam.

We’ll off to Vietnam Museum of Ethnology after lunch.

Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is where you can learn about the diversity of Vietnamese culture with 54 ethnic minorities.

The museum consists of documents, antiques and photos of culture and rite of several ethnic communities from the North to the South of Vietnam.

It is also well-known for its outdoor exhibition area, at which you could see real house or tombs of some minor groups in Vietnam.

Day 2: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – B, L, D

Stop At: Sapa, Sapa, Lao Cai Province
Arrive in Lao Cai around 5:30 a.m. We will take 1 hour van ride uphill to the beautiful town of Sapa. The ride gives you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces. Upon arrival Sapa town, we have buffet breakfast at the

Stop At: Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai Tl152, Sapa 290000 Vietnam
After having breakfast, we have a short walk of 5km along mountain trail to visit Y Linh Ho village which is inhabited by black Hmong tribe and completely secluded from tourists, especially you are able to embrace raw Sapa culture and community by coming into some native houses to discover their own culture and custom as well as study how the local tribe make handicraft from natural materials such as: hemp, indigo…ect.

Stop At: Lao Chai, Lao Chai, Lao Cai Province
Continuing to walk down Muong Hoa River where you can
take a rest or swim before trekking uphill to Lao Chai village where your picnic lunch will be served.

Stop At: Ta Van, Ta Van, Lao Cai Province
After lunch, you will visit the Day and Red Dzao tribes of Tavan village, which lies in the middle of Muong Hoa valley where excellent panoramas of rice terraced fields. Climbing to the main road, you are transferred to Sapa by car. Having shower and dinner before being transferred to Lao Cai for catching the night train to Hanoi.

Day 3: TaVan – GiangTaChai – SuPan – Sapa B,L,D

Stop At: Giang Ta Chai Village, Ta Van Commune, Sapa 008420 Vietnam
Breakfast before start tour with 08 km walking to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao, the H’mong (Giang Ta Chai & Su Pan). Visit a beautiful waterfall and rattan bridge. Enjoy landscapes… through bamboo forest on the way to the main road to get the Car to return to Sapa.by bus
