8h00 – 8h10 am: Our private car and english speaking tourguide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi old quarter departure for Hoa Lu. It’s take more or less 2,5 hours from Hanoi to Hoa Lu.
10h30 You will arrive Hoa Lu. Our english speaking tourguide will show you to visit Hoa Lu. Hoa Lu was the capital of Vietnam between 10th and 11th century. The area is one of ricefields broken by picturesque limestone mountains, the capital at Hoa Lu covered an area of 300 ha (3.0 km2), including both the Inner and Outer Citadels. It included defensive earthen walls, palaces, temples and shrines, and was surrounded and protected by mountains of limestone. Today, the ancient citadel no longer exists, and few vestiges of the 10th century remain. Visitors can see temples built in honor of the emperors Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh, their sons, and Queen Duong Van Nga.
11h50 Get on private car go to the local restaurant in Tam Coc for having lunch with Vietnamese cuisine.
13h30 Go to Tam Coc wharf, get on a private sampan for enjoying rowing through three famous caves in Tam Coc (Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba). They have a lot of beautiful Stalactites and stalactites with different calorful. After finish visiting Tam Coc. You have an opportunity to ride bicycle around Tam Coc town and Villages. Stop At: Tam Coc, Ninh Binh 430000 Vietnam
Tam Coc, means “three caverns”, including Ca cave, Hai cave and Ba cave. All three caves are formed by the Ngo Dong river stabbing through the mountain. Tam Coc is the first cruise line to be exploited in Tam Coc – Bich Dong tourist area.
Ca cave is 127 m long, through a large mountain, its mouth is over 20 m wide. In the cave, the climate is quite cool and there are many stalactites hanging down with various shapes.
Hang Hai, nearly 1 km from Ca cave, is 60 meters long. The cave ceiling has many stalactites hanging down very strangely
Hang Ba, close to Hai cave, is 50 m long, ceiling like a stone arch, lower than the other two caves
Want to visit Tam Coc, visitors get off the boat from the central wharf. Boats take visitors on Ngo Dong river winding through cliffs, caves across the water, rice fields. Time to go and come back about 2 hours. The landscape of Tam Coc, especially on the two sides of the Ngo Dong River, can vary with the season of rice (green rice, yellow rice or silver water in the field).
