Itinerary
Day 1: Vietnam Cheers Hostel Hanoi – Sleeper Bus to Ha Giang
Pass By: Ha Giang, Ha Giang, Ha Giang Province
NIGHT ONE: Get on a comfy Sleeper bus from Vietnam Cheers Hostel Hanoi to Ha Giang, then check-in at Ha Giang Cheers Hostel in the early morning around 3 AM for a nap and breakfast before your epic adventure begins.
No meals included on this day.

Day 2: Ha Giang – Yen Minh town- Dong Van
Stop At: Quan Ba Heaven Gate, Tam Son Town, Quan Ba 310000 Vietnam
Day One starts with riding up to Bac Sum Pass, up to Heaven Gate in Quan Ba, Ha Giang, where you’ll enjoy the beautiful scenery of the twin mountains and Tam Son town.

We will stop for lunch in Yen Minh Town.

Stop At: Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, Sa Phin, Ha Giang 310000 Vietnam
As we drive towards Dong Van, through picturesque Chin Khoanh Pass, you’ll experience the wonder of Don Van Karst Plateau, a major geoheritage sight in Vietnam, where the landscape is composed of endless rice fields and limestone rocks. You’ll also have the opportunity to experience the life of hill tribe villages where local people work the land.

We will visit Hmong King’s Palace, home of ethnic tribe king Vuong’s family in Sa Phin. Upon arrival in Dong Van in late afternoon, you’ll enjoy a local dinner with live music and karaoke.

• Lunch: Lunch in Yen Minh Town.
• Dinner: Dinner at accommodation in Dong Van.

Day 3: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Nho Que River – Du Gia village
Stop At: Ma Pi Leng Pass, Meo Vac, Ha Giang 310000 Vietnam
Head towards the Ma Pi Leng Pass, the epic highlight of the Ha Giang Loop. It is well known for its abrupt cliffs and breath-taking views, often referred to as the “king” of the passes in Vietnam with its highest point at an altitude of 2,000 meters. Walk the Sky Path to have a 360 degree panoramic view of Ma Pi Leng Pass.

Pass By: Meo Vac, Meo Vac, Ha Giang Province
Continue to drive through the villages of Meo Vac, Mau Due and Lung Ho. In the afternoon, pass through the epic mountains to Du Gia Rural Homestay, located in the middle of gorgeous green rice fields. Don’t forget to enjoy some “happy water” (local rice wine) with new local friends!

• Dinner: Local homestay dinner in Du Gia amongst green rice fields. Includes local rice wine.

Day 4: Du Gia – Lung Tam Village – Ha Giang – Hanoi
Stop At: Lùng Tám, Quản Bạ District, Ha Giang, Vietnam
On the last day of the journey, swim in a gorgeous waterfall, then visit Lung Tam, a Hmong ethnic minority village, to learn more about the textiles they’re known for crafting. Pass by Nui Doi mountain.

Arrive back in Ha Giang city late afternoon. Board 4:30 PM Comfort Limousine bus back to Hanoi Old Quarter. Arrival Hanoi 11:30PM. Stay overnight for free at Vietnam Cheers Hostel.
