Be guided on this 4 days guided journey to experience one of the most spectacular but least-travelled areas in northern Vietnam. Hoang Su Phi is a remote district west of Ha Giang province. The road to Hoang Su Phi winds its way along high mountain passes offering fantastic views of the valley below. You will be taken to breathtaking homestay where the surrounding area can be explored by foot.
Tiny Red and Long Dress Dzao villages are hidden away in the mountains and its residences are kind-hearted, hardworking and incredibly hospitable.
We will do some trekking, experience paper-making workshop and visit small Red Dzao museum. Experience ethnic music/dance performance and visit local tea factory.

Itinerary
Day 1: Ha Noi – Nam Hong
Stop At: Thông Nguyên, Hoàng Su Phì District, Ha Giang, Vietnam
Nam Hong is a small village in Hoang Su Phi, accessible by following steep road up from the valley of Thong Nguyen. The majority of the families who live here are from the Red Dzao ethinic minority
Duration: 3 hours
Meals included:
• Lunch: Lunch at a restaurant along the way
• Dinner: Have dinner at homestay
• Breakfast

Day 2: Nam Hong
Stop At: Thông Nguyên, Hoàng Su Phì District, Ha Giang, Vietnam

We will start trek, visit paper-making workshop and small Red Dzao museum. Then, we will head to Nam Ai village to discover more about local culture.
After dinner, a ethnic music/dance will be performed.

Day 3: Nam Hong – Ho Thau – Ban Luoc
Stop At: Hồ Thầu, Hoàng Su Phì District, Ha Giang, Vietnam
Depart by car to Ho Thau, visit local tea factory along the way.
Besides rice, tea is another big source of income for farmers in Hoang Su Phi. With “Shan Tuyet tea” being one of the local specialities.
