What to Expect When Visiting Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Vietnam

This itinerary is designed for Australian and New Zealand veterans, their relatives, friends, and visitors interested in the battle sites where those countries’ soldiers fought and died. The focus will be on the sights – wherever possible, we bring past combatants together in a spirit of reconciliation.

Morning pickup at your hotel at 8:00am and transfer over 1,5 hours to Long Tan. Upon arrival, you will visit Long Tan Cross Memorial, the site of Horseshoe FSB and Long Phuoc Tunnels.

After that, You also have time to gather and look back on one of the most well-known Australian engagements of the Vietnam War – the Battle of Long Tan (18th August 1966). Especially, the Long Tan battle field has become the memorial site which annually welcomes a number of Australian veterans.

Drive back to Ho Chi Minh city late afternoon and have lunch at some local restaurant on the way. Drop you at your hotel. End of services.
