Stop At: The Venerable Thich Quang Duc Monument, Corner of Cach Mang Thang Tam & Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, Ho Chi Minh City 70000 Vietnam
Our friendly guide picks you up at your hotel. After a greeting and telling you how to be safe on the motorbike, we start weaving the main streets and lots of back alleys in far districts.
The first stop is Thich Quang Duc monument where you learn about the monk who burned himself until death for protesting the persecution of Buddhists by the South Vietnamese government. The statue of Thich Quang Duc in fire and the large relief are worth seeing.

Coming to Ngo Gia Tu apartment building area which is home to hundreds of people for over 50 years, you will see Saigon in the past and the real local life in Saigon.

Stop At: Ho Thi Ky Flower Market, Ho Thi Ky Ward 1, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City 700000 Vietnam
The next stop is the special Ho Thi Ky street and its alleys lined with dozens of flower shops and filled with colorful flowers and decorative plants. This place is known as the biggest wholesale and retail flower market in the city.
From Ho Thi Ky, we go to a wet local market where locals sell and buy commodities, clothes, accessories, raw foods, live animals, pork organ meat and many other strange things.

After that, we visit a hidden gem in an alley – Ten Thousand Buddha Pagoda where to see countless big and small Buddha statues on altars, on the walls, in petals of a Buddha lotus seat.
