Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Hoa Lu ancient Capital – Trang An – Bich Dong Pagoda (Lunch/Dinner)

Welcome at your hotel lobby in Hanoi Old Quarter. After one hour sitting in bus to Ninh Binh province.
The very first meaningful stop-over in our itinerary is Hoa Lu, the capital of Vietnam from 968 until 1010. Hoa Lu Ancient Capital is specially the national-level important cultural-historical relics. Hoa Lu Ancient Capital used to be a firm military stronghold of 3 consecutive dynasties in Vietnam history: Dinh Dynasty, Early Le Dynasty, and Ly Dynasty. The Imperial place lays under the ground for 3m and now become a very interesting place to visit. You will have the chance to see the old items used by the royal family in ancient time.

Stop At: Bich Dong Pagoda, Ngu Nhac Son Mountains, Ninh Binh 430000 Vietnam
11.20: Bike to Bich Dong pagoda which located in the Truong Yen range, looks on a valley of fertile rice fields, crossed by the Truong Giang River and leans on Bich Dong Mountain of Ngu Nhac Son Mountains. Bich Dong pagoda includes three temples: Ha temple, Trung temple and Thuong temple. Bich Dong pagoda’s architecture was based on Oriental style with main materials are wood and tiles. Bich Dong is surrounded by Hoang Long River, in which the surface is covered by green and unique pink of lotus. That sight makes you feel peaceful and relaxed.

In the afternoon, you will arrive at another popular attraction, Trang An Grottoes (the World Natural Heritage site). You will pass through 4 caves: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, see scenery of mountain and rivers Halong Bay on land of Ninh Binh. On the way, you also pass through some spiritual spots like Dia Linh Mountain in the middle of the river, etc. and learn more about Vietnamese history.
The grottoes consist of a handful of caves and rocks towering out from a large network of canals and lakes.
Back to Hotel for check in. Have dinner at hotel. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Get back to local house, during 30 munite You will join Vietnamese folk music show with the participation of talented artists performing with “dan bau” (monochord), “dan nhi” (2-string zither), “dan day” (plucked lute), flute. You know more about the spiritual life of Vietnamese. You also have chance enjoy sunset party with green tea and some traditional candy.

Day 2: Mua Cave – Hanoi (Breakfast/Lunch)
Stop At: Mua Caves, Ninh Binh 430000 Vietnam
Wake up and enjoy breakfast at hotel. After that, we will cycle around village to discover the local life in the morning and go to Mua cave. You also need to pass nearly 500 steps up to set your footprints on the top of Mua Mountain. It is worth your conquering efforts as you will have an impressive panoramic view of Tam Coc, Trang An & Ninh Binh city from there.
Cycling back to home-stay. It is time for lunch at local restaurant.
