Itinerary
Day 1: Night train from Hanoi to Lao Cai
Stop At: Lao Cai, Lao Cai, Lao Cai Province
You will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi about 8:00 PM and transferred to Hanoi train station. Spend tonight at a private A/c cabin.
The train takes about 7 hours to Lao Cai City. Expecting an early arrival tomorrow.

Day 2: Sapa – Muong Hoa Valley
Stop At: Sapa, Sapa, Lao Cai Province
Arriving at Lao Cai train station early in the morning (About 5:30 a.m), get off the train, get picked up and transferred 1h uphill to Sapa. Arrive in town, you’ll be placed at a restaurant for refreshing & having breakfast. After that, having your big bags stored before the trek today.

Stop At: Muong Hoa Valley, Sapa 333108 Vietnam
At 8: 30, you will set off for a whole day trek to Muong Hoa Valley. The first stop is by a waterfall at Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong people for taking photographs and listen to some traditional music and dance (if you come right at the time of a show). The first part of the trek in Cat Cat Village is quite crowded on concrete steps down to the waterfall, but then we continue on toward Y Linh Ho village on a small dirt path along the valley. This is a less-traveled path in the valley and the scenery is stunning. A basic lunch is at a local food store.

Stop At: Ta Van Village, Sapa 330000 Vietnam
After lunch, we will descend to Lao Chai village and on to the Ta Van village for the home-stay. The terrain can be steep at times and slightly challenging for seniors. However, for thoses with a moderate fitness level should be fine. The homestay accommodation for the evening is basic, but clean bedding and mosquito nets are provided. Dinner and overnight at a local house.

Day 3: Sapa – Hanoi
Stop At: Giang Ta Chai Village, Ta Van Commune, Sapa 008420 Vietnam
This morning, after the breakfast, you bid farewell to the host family and carry on your trek to Giang Ta Chai Village. Around noon, get picked up by car and make your way up to the town for lunch. In the afternoon, you are free to do your own things such as doing some shopping or enjoying foot message at a shop or you may be interested in experiencing the cable-car ride up the the top of Indochina, Fansipan Mountain.

Stop At: Lao Cai, Lao Cai, Lao Cai Province
About 4:30, getting transferred downhill to Lao Cai City for dinner at a restaurant before the night train back to Hanoi. The next morning, you will be picked up by a private car to your hotel in Hanoi.
