Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – City Tour

Upon arrival at Hanoi airport, your tour guide and driver will greet you and escort you to your hotel and help with your check-in.
After that, you’ll take part in a fantastic city tour in Hanoi with visits to Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and his personal residence; the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature and then you’ll continue to the Museum of Ethnology. In the late afternoon, you’ll enjoy a one-hour rickshaw tour around Hanoi Old Quarter.

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Ba Dinh Square is one of the most visited attractions in Hanoi. It is the final resting place of Ho Chi Minh, the most iconic and popular leader of Vietnam, known to his people as ‘Uncle Ho’. His body is preserved here in a glass case at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in central Hanoi.

The Temple of Literature is often cited as one of Hanoi’s most picturesque tourist attractions. Originally built as a university in 1070 dedicated to Confucius, scholars and sages, the building is extremely well preserved and is a superb example of traditional-style Vietnamese architecture.

Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in Hanoi offers an insight into the 54 different ethnic groups of Vietnam in an effort to preserve cultural heritage and promote socio-cultural diversity within the country.
Visitors are welcome to browse some of the vast research on offer at this public museum which is also a center for ethnographic research.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay Day Trip

Stop At: Halong Bay, Halong Bay, Quang Ninh Province
You’ll journey to the UNESCO-protected site of Ha Long Bay, one of Vietnam’s proudest gems. You’ll spend the entire day journeying across the bay on board this Vietnamese-style junk and feasting on fresh seafood bought from local fishermen, visiting one of the gorgeous caves in this area and swimming in the Gulf of Tonkin. At the end of the day, you’ll enjoy the nice drive through the countryside of the Red River Delta back to Hanoi.

Day 3: Vietnam Grand Prix Qualifying Rounds

Stop At: Hanoi, Hanoi
Today, you’ll have some free time to explore the Old Quarter before your transfer to the circuit where you can take your allocated position along the trackside and watch as your favourite drivers burn rubber in pursuit of a place in the official race on the following day. The top spots in the three qualifying rounds get the most advantageous starting positions in the next day’s race, so you can be sure you’ll see your fair share of thrills and spills today.

One of Hanoi’s most common sights is that of streets packed with scooters, bicycles and cars swarming around pedestrians like a school of fish. Then there are the many sidewalk vendors and people simply out for a stroll and the popular Old Quarter is no exception so walking around this district is distinct from a leisurely stroll in the park. Visitors have no choice but to face the traffic in the local style but the experience of exploring the historical area is a must-do and truly well worth it.

Day 4: Vietnam Grand Prix Main Race

Main Race – Everything each driver and team has been preparing for will come to a head on Sunday, the main race date of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Vietnam. Every driver will have their position, ranging from pole position to 20th, and each will be vying to get a place on the podium for their team

Day 5: Hanoi Street Food Tour – Departure

Stop At: Hanoi, Hanoi
In the morning, you’ll join a special street food tour in Hanoi. The food tour experience starts with a visit to one of the local markets in the city to see all different kinds of food that are used for a Vietnamese breakfast, lunch and dinner and to understand more about the life of the Vietnamese. After that, you’ll have some free time to explore Hanoi until your transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

Hanoi has a lively street food culture that offers reasonably priced and flavorful food in attractive settings. Most Vietnamese street food spots serve fresh and light meals drawing heavily on herbs, lime juice and chilli.
