At 8:30: Tour guide will welcome you from your hotel in the Old Quarter or Hoan Kiem lake area, then we start visiting some highlights below.

9:00: Visit Hanoi Flag Tower for 30 minutes, Hanoi Flag Tower is a symbol of the city and a remnant of Vietnam’s feudal history. You can climb to the top for panoramic views. Adjacent to the tower is the Military History Museum.

9:45: Visit Temple of Literature in 30 minutes, Temple of Literature is a well-preserved complex dedicated to Confucius and scholars. It was Vietnam’s first national university and is a prime example of traditional architecture.

10:30: Visit Hoa Lo Prison (Hanoi Hilton) in 30 minutes. Hoa Lo Prison: Also known as the “Hanoi Hilton,” It is a historic site that once housed political prisoners during the French colonial era. It later held American prisoners of war during the War.

11:15: Stop 10 minutes to visit St. Joseph’s Cathedral. It is a neo-Gothic Catholic cathedral dating back to the late 19th century. Its twin spires dominate the skyline of Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

12:00: Visit Long Bien Bridge for 20 minutes, Long Bien Bridge is one of the most famous bridges in Hanoi. It has experienced so much devastation, yet, it is still standing over the Red River as a precious symbol representing the painful history of Hanoi.
