What makes 2-day Sapa Trekking Homestay (small group) a unique experience ?
Sapa town stands at the head of a deep valley of magnificent rice terraces that are still farmed today as they have been for centuries. Backdrops don’t get much more spectacular. Enticing ribbons of road lead the eye down to the valley floor, white-water rivers rush among rice fields, and lush green mountains stretch into the distance as far as the eye can see. The highest peak in the region, Mount Fansipan, crowns the ragged ridge line high above town.
Nestled at the foot of a hill, Y Linh Ho Village is situated around 7 kilometers to the southwest of Sapa. Embraced by the spectacular Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range, this village is home to the H’Mong and Dao communities. To reach this spot, you can follow the path along Muong Hoa Valley toward Lao Chai Village. The distance between Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai is relatively short, allowing you to easily explore both villages and experience the exquisite beauty of Sapa’s countryside in Vietnam.
This village derives its name from its founder, Mr. Ly Linh Ho. Since its establishment, the village has been the residence and sustenance of the Dao community. Despite the later settlement of the H’Mong people, the original name was preserved in honor of the village’s founder.
Located within Muong Hoa Valley in Lao Cai Province, Ta Van Village is a popular destination for visitors wondering “What to do in Sapa?” One of the highlights of this village is its diverse ethnic makeup, with the Giay, Hmong, and Red Dao ethnic groups living harmoniously in the area. The village is also surrounded by terraced rice fields that serve both practical and aesthetic purposes. Practically, the terraced fields maximize the use of limited arable land in the mountainous region, allowing for the cultivation of rice. Aesthetically, the fields form a breathtaking panorama, especially during the growing season when they are lush green.
