Stop At: Tho Ha Village, Vietnam
You will explore Tho Ha village through narrow and complicated alleys with the ancient houses that had been built from broken part of terracotta from the past. When walking over village cemetery to reach the dike, you will catch a good opportunity to watch the village from distance over the beautiful lake. Tho Ha, whose special brick walls have attracted many film producers, painters, photographers is now famous for rice wine or cassava wine and rice paper cakes.
After having lunch at a local host, you will move to visit one pottery family and workshop. They used to fire Tho Ha pottery with dry grass, and then firewood and coal.

On the way back Hanoi, you can make a stop at Dong Ky wood carving village. Originally, carpentry was another favorite activity for the inhabitants of Dong Ky.
Nevertheless, poverty made the villagers focus their skills on this occupation. In this village, there are about 12,000 residents prospering from their trade with the increasing requirement from hotels, restaurants, and exporters for their quality, hand carved furniture and crafts.
After visiting Dong Ky village, you will head back to your hotel in Hanoi. Your trip will end at your hotel at about 15h30.
