Itinerary

Day 1: Da Nang Arrival – Hue City – Overnight in Hue (L)

Stop At: Hue Imperial City (The Citadel), Hue Vietnam
Our Guide will pick-up and welcome at Da Nang Airport. Transfer to Hue, on the way we will stop at Hai Van Pass. Upon arrival in Hue, we will visit the Citadel, Hue’s prime attraction, which contains the Imperial City, the Forbidden Purple City and the Emperor’s Private Residence. Hue citadel was built from 1804 to 1833 under the Nguyen’s dynasty (the last feudalist kingdom in Vietnam). The grounds of the Imperial City are protected by fortified ramparts 2 kilometers and ringed by a moat. Inside the citadel, there are a lot of different construction works such as: Imperial City gates, Purple Forbidden City, Temples and places of worshipping, pavilions, gardens, etc. Following the morning activities, we will have a short break for lunch and afterward, we will take a boat trip on the Perfume River with a stopover at Thien Mu pagoda. Considered bymany as the unofficial symbol of Hue, Thien Mu is an active Buddhist monastery with origins dating back to 1601. One of its most poignant displays is a car belonging to a former monk, who in 1963, drove to Saigon and set himself alight to protest against the South Vietnamese regime and its cruel treatment of Buddhist monks and followers.

Have breakfast. After that, we go ahead to Quang Binh to explore Dark Cave which is really an amazing experience. We will do kayak along Chay river walk through the dark with just head torches and plunge into a narrow cavern full of thick, wonderfully gloppy, gooey mud. You will be surprised of the beauty hidden in the dark. Inside Dark cave you will have the opportunity to have a natural mud bath and swim in the cool lake. Besides, you can join many activities such as swimming, zip line, high-wire, and kayaking. The cave is a way different experience in compare with the other caves. Lots of adventurous activities are waiting for you.

Day 3: Phong Nha Cave – Hoi An (B/ L)

Have breakfast. We will explore Phong Nha Cave – has been regarded by British Cave Research Association as the top cave in the world due to its 4 top records: the longest underground river, the highest and longest cave, broadest and most beautiful fine sand beaches inside the caves, the most spectacular stalagmites and stalactites. Once you reach at the entrance of cave, you will feel like you are entering in the mouth of mountain.

Then, go ahead to Hoi An.

Day 4: Hoi An – Ba Na Hills – Golden Bridge – Hoi An Ancient Town (B/ L)

Have breakfast. We will visit Ba Na Hill. Ba Na Hill Station is a hill station and resort located in the Truong Son Mountains west of the city of Da Nang, in central Vietnam. The station, advertised as “the Da Lat of Da Nang province” by local tourism authorities, was founded in 1919 by French colonists Ba Na is one of the most interesting areas in the region. Often one can feel the four distinct seasons within a single day: morning – spring, noon – summer, afternoon – autumn and evening winter. You will have chance visiting Golden Bridge which is a 150-metre long pedestrian bridge with two giant stone hands supporting the structure. It is designed to connect the cable ca station with the gardens and to provide a scenic overlook and tourist attraction. You will visit Linh Ung Pagoda with its exquisite architectural design. It was built in 2004 and is symbolized by a 30-meter high Buddha statue that is exposed amidst an immense space of clouds and mountains. Close to Linh Ung Pagoda remains the cellar of the French, which is still used today to distill alcohol and can be visited by tourists. We will continue our trip discovering Tinh Tam Garden, Nghinh Phong Peak and Vong Nguyet Hill where we can enjoy the panoramic views the areas have to offer.

After lunch, we will proceed to our last stop – Man Thai fishing village, talking with fisher folk about traditional methods catching and rattan basket boat.

In the evening, we explore Hoi An Ancient Town on foot is one of the best ways to take in the city’s charm. While exploring the small yet beautiful town, tourists and frequent visitors alike find that it is a place of quiet and peace. The unique atmosphere here combines elements of Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese culture. Some of the most remarkable views of the city are from the Ancient Houses. From here, visitors can catch a glimpse of a long-gone past and more subdued and simple time. The tour includes visits to Hoi An Market, Hoi An Museum, many of the own’s renowned Ancient Houses which boast remarkable architecture, Assembly Halls of Chinese influence, Art Craft Manufacturing and of course the must-see Japanese Covered Bridge. These spots are considered as typical architecture styles in Hoi An and reflect clearly the cross culture among France, Japan, China and Vietnam… Passing over hundreds of year and withstanding the severity of the weather, Hoi An still exists and keeps the ancient and quiet beauty. Once strolling around the ancient city, you will contemplate the simple and rustic life activities, the trellises of windflowers covering around the houses. Day 5: Marble Mountain – Cham Museum – Departure to Airport (B)

Stop At: The Marble Mountains, Hoa Hai, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang 550000 Vietnam
After breakfast, we will check-out and transfer to Marble Mountain. The Marble Mountain (Vietnamese: Ngu Hanh Son; literally “five elements mountains”) is a popular sightseeing location in Da Nang because of its alluring beauty. Stone steps carved into the mountain lead to a Buddhist Pagoda. There are plenty of exercises as there’s lots of steps, you can also discover stunning caves and enjoy the beautiful view from the top of the mountain. Upon arrival to the mountain, we will climb up the stone stairs and visit the caves and pagodas as well as admire the beautiful panoramic view. We will then head down the mountain and visit the stone village where the skilled local sculptors create many marble products. Then, you will go to Am Phu Cave where there’s a replica of heaven and hell, eerie underground tunnels while listening to the clapping of bats’ wings in the cave. We will continue to the Cham Sculpture Museum. The Cham Museum in Da Nang is dedicated to this period and the Champa existence which began predominantly in the coastal areas of Vietnam. The Museum displays almost 300 terracotta and stone works of art ranging from the 7th to the 15th century.

End tour, transfer to Danang Airport for departure.
