Day 1: Da Lat arrival

Day 2: Da Lat city tour (SIC Tour)
Stop At: Thien Vien Truc Lam, Near Tuyen Lam Lake 731, Da Lat 61000 Vietnam
Established in special social conditions, with the aim of restoring Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen School founded by the King Tran Thanh Tong, this Zen school has harmoniously combined different Zen schools with Vietnamese cultural and tradition into Vietnamese Zen. Truc Lam Zen Monastery lies on a protected forest of 23,2 hectares, of which 2 hectares is the building area.

Tuyen Lam Lake is the biggest lake in Lam Dong with an area of 320 hectares of the lake and open air sights are also the largest in Lam Dong with 2000 hectares (as planned). This place is one of the tourist landscape attractive a lot of visitors of Dalat city. On August 30, 1998, Tuyen Lam Lake was recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism as a historical-cultural vestige.

Datanla Waterfall is located in the middle of Prenn Pass about 5km south of Da Lat city center. It is a small waterfall pouring from a rocky cliff about 20m high into a deep pool, creating a romantic and dreamy scene. Located 3.5 km southwest of Da Lat French Quarter, Bao Dai Summer Palace is set along Trieu Viet Vuong Street near the Pasteur Institute. It has many valuable and well-preserved artefacts that were left behind, including sculptures of the royal family, a large white bust of Bao Dai himself, and an engraved glass map of Vietnam. Today, visitors can explore all 25 rooms within the palace, where they can take a step back time to learn about royal history.

Golden statue of Sakyamuni Buddha raising a lotus in his hand a symbolic image of Buddha in Linh Son Dharma Conference, expressing the philosophy of ‘existence in nihilism’ in Buddhist Zen. The statue was built on 14/4/2002 under directing of superior Buddhist monk Thich Vien Thanh. It is 24m high, 20m wide, right hand holding a lotus with the original meaning in a Buddhist story: Once at the Linh Thuu congress, when the Sakyamuni Buddha rose a lotus up, all the assembly fell silent and bewildered, only Kassapa Buddha smiled. Cock Church in Dalat with official name is Dalat Cathedral. When visitors arrive Dalat city, the first thing makes them feel impressive is the bell tower of the Cathedral which local people has called it “Cock church”. It is because there is a man – made cock stuck on the top of the tower. It is the biggest church in Dalat city which was designed and built by Frenchman.
