Day 1: Mai Chau full day tour
Stop At: Old Quarter, Hanoi 100000 Vietnam
7:30: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Thung Khe Pass, Highway 6, Mai Chau Vietnam
Head out for Mai Chau. Scenic photo stop along the way and visit the Muong tribes and then Thung Khe Pass for a spectacular view of Mai Chau Valley.
Duration: 3 hours
Stop At: Lac Village, Mai Chau Vietnam
relax and have an authentic lunch with a local family of the White Thai tribe and enjoy some free time to acquaint yourself with the villagers.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Mai Chau, Mai Chau, Hoa Binh Province
Afternoon, ride a bike through narrow village path, see terraced rice paddies and small villages, discovering the natural beauty of the valley and encountering the culture of the ethnic minority Thai people on our visits to the Pom Coong and Na Phon villages.

our guide will pick you up to the first university of Vietnam – Temple of Literature. Being an ancient school of Thang Long and the first university in Vietnam, Temple of Literature is acknowledged as an ancient historical-cultural heritage which gives tourists deeper understanding about Hanoi 1000 years of culture and tradition.

Stop At: Hoa Lo Prison, 1 Hoa Lo St Hoan Kiem, Hanoi 10000 Vietnam
You can choose temple of literature or Hoa Lo Prison. It were built in 1899. The French kept mainly political prisoners here along with those awaiting sentencing at the nearby Court of Justice,also where American pilots who had been shot down and captured were kept as prisoners of war. The pilots called it, sarcastically, the “Hanoi Hilton.” John McCain was held here at various times during his five and a half years as a POW.
