Tour guide from AZ Local Trip pick you up and your group from your hotel or at the confirmed meeting point in Hanoi Old Quarter. Please be ready before the starting time 15 minutes.
You can choose one free tour to join it. Free street food tour or free Old Quarter tour with our student volunteer guide. You will pay foods and drinks, entrance fees if you use them. The tour often last 2,5 to 3 hours. Afterthat, our guide will bring you to the starting point for Hanoi Cyclo tour.

One of the ancient pagoda. It was built to worship Ly Quoc Su, a famous monk in the Ly dynasty.
Nowadays, Ly Quoc Su Pagoda is a popular worshipping place for locals on the first and fifteenth day of every month in Lunar Calendar.
Ly Quoc Su Pagoda was built in 1131 rehabilitated and redecorated many times with the biggest restoration in 1954. The cultural and historical treasure are Ly Quoc Su’s statue, Buddha statues and statues of Monk Tu Dao Hanh and his mother and Monk Giac Hai. There is also the precious bell of Tu Chung, cast in the 19th century and a stone stele with inscriptions made in 1855 by Le Dinh Duyen, a famous man. The name of Ly Quoc Su was given to a 244 meter-long street running from Hang Bong to Nha Tho streets.

Visit Hoa Lo Prison. It were built in 1899. The French kept mainly political prisoners here along with those awaiting sentencing at the nearby Court of Justice,also where American pilots who had been shot down and captured were kept as prisoners of war. The pilots called it, sarcastically, the “Hanoi Hilton.” John McCain was held here at various times during his five and a half years as a POW.
