Itinerary
Day 1: Saigon – Cai Be
Stop At: Cai Be Floating Market, Cai Be Vietnam
At 7AM, our private car and English speaking tour guide will pick you up right at your accommodation. After two and a half hour, we will reach to Cai Be of Tien Giang Province. At this beautiful place, we will do these activities:
– Bargain and exchange agriculture products on boats, see the floating market for real. One of the main ways that people in Mekong Delta use to trade goods in the past
– Enjoy tropical fruits while listening to “Đờn ca tài tử” – the Southern amateur music – a traditional kind of music in Southwest Vietnam
– Experience the peaceful atmosphere of water region by rowing a small boat through small nipa canals
– Visit the bee-farm, observe how people raise bees for honey, and drink honey tea. Tourists can buy products made from honey and queen bees’ milk
– Visit Coconut candy factory to see Coconut candy production line. Taste special wines of snake or scorpion
– Enjoy lunch at the local restaurant
– After lunch, you could take a rest or ride a bicycle on the village road
– Move to Mekong Lodge for stay overnight. Finish the first day of our Mekong 3 days 2 nights tour.

Day 2: Cai Be – Flower Village – Ancient House – Mandarin Farm – Can Tho
Stop At: Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House, 255A Nguyen Hue Ward 2, Sa Dec Vietnam
At 7 AM, we will head to Sa Dec of Dong Thap province after enjoying breakfast at Mekong Lodge.
At first stop, we spend our time to explore Xeo Quyt Eco Forest. It is also called Rung Tram, is the magnificent 52-hectare near My Hiep village. One vast swamp beneath a beautiful thick canopy of tall trees and vines, it’s one of the last natural forests left in the Mekong Delta. Xeo Quyt belongs to My Long commune, Cao Lanh district, Dong Thap province. It is a basement among residential place which is preserved formerly containing: underground house, store, secret tunnel…Visiting Xeo Quyt, tourists can view the scene of tough life in the defending America period and traveling by boat on the charming river and beneath a beautiful thick canopy of tall trees and vines.
Leaving Xeo Quyt, we head to Huynh Thuy Le’s Ancient House to visit the famous ancient house and have lunch there. This ancient house is the home of the main character in French writer Marguerite Duras’s novel “The Lover” in Sa Dec town, Dong Thap province has been listed as one of Vietnam’s most impressive destinations by the Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations.
The 119-year-old house owned by the Huynh Thuy family is famous for its unique architecture – a mixture of Southern Vietnamese, French and Chinese styles. The house witnessed the passionate love affair between Marguerite Duras – the well-known French writer who penned the famous novel L’Amant (The Lover) – and Huynh Thuy Le, a son of the Huynh Family.

Stop At: Sadec Flower Village, Sa Dec Vietnam
After lunch, we move to Sa Dec Flower Village -The Colorful World of Mekong Delta.
Serving as the centre of flower and bonsai, Tan Quy Dong Flower Village in Sa Dec becomes one of the attractive destinations for tourists in edge of New Year occasion. Visitors come here at that time, not the Tet holiday time because the period between 15 to 22 of December in Lunar calendar is the starting time for flowers in Sa Dec to bloom. The locals here also prepare to harvest and transport flowers to other nearby areas, serving for Tet holiday.
When the time comes, every people gather on the fields for growing flowers that create a crowded and busy atmosphere as if Tet is coming. Thus, it is said that Sa Dec has an early New Year. Spring comes when the local busy with their work of planting flowers.
On the border on New Year time, a lot of youngsters from Sai Gon will be rushing about this village to take photos, some even come to take wedding photos. The landscapes in Sa Dec are also diverse with the immense colourful flower fields, serving as the marvellous background for photos and never making people bored.
Sa Dec flower village can be said s one of the must visit place in the southwest in border on Tet time. It shall surprise you with the vast and gorgeous space.

Day 3: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Saigon
Stop At: Cai Rang Floating Market, 46 Hai Ba Trung Near Cai Rang Bridge, Can Tho 900000 Vietnam
On day 2, enjoy a 6:30 AM breakfast and then take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river. After, proceed to visit the Cai Răng floating market, which is the liveliest in the whole region. Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who live along the Mekong canals. Next, you will roam through the village, see fruit gardens and visit a rice husking mill and a rice noodles making shop. Then, head back to the riverside for lunch before traveling back to Ho Chi Minh where you will arrive at around 4:00 PM with unforgettable memories.
