Welcome to Da Nang fantastic city. We will pick you up and we will drive along the coastal beach of Da Nang Bay before coming to Hue for this amazing trip

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Hai Van Pass, National Route 1A, 530000 Vietnam

On the way to Hue City, we will go through the magnificent Hai Van Pass with impressive landscape of verdant mountain and clear blue sky.
From there, you can enjoy the panorama view of Da Nang City, Tien Sa Port, Son Tra Peninsula. Crossing over a spur of Truong Son mountain range between Thua Thien-Hue Province and Da Nang City, it stands at 500m above sea level, making it the highest pass in Vietnam.

Stop At: Thai Hoa Palace, Imperial City Forbidden Purple City – Imperial Citadel, Hue 520000 Vietnam

Thai Hoa palace is among the most important constructions of Hue Imperial City where Nguyen kings had ruled the country for over 100 years.
Built in 1805, Thai Hoa palace is a typical royal architecture in style of “double houses on one foundation” decorated with enamelled bronzeware, gilding and lacquer. Main decorative patterns of the palace are dragons and clouds together with many symbolic ornaments inside and outside of the building. This palace also houses the throne of all Nguyen kings and a splendid 9-dragon gilded canopy above the throne.

Stop At: Hue Imperial City (The Citadel), Hue Vietnam

Located on the northern bank of Huong River, the former capital of Vietnam is an area which is over 500ha, including the Royal and the Forbidden City. Hue citadel was the administrative and political center of Nguyen Dynasty – the last Feudatory Emperor of Vietnam. In 1993, Hue Citadel was admitted “the World’s Cultural Heritage” by UNESCO.

Built in 1821 by Emperor Minh Mang to worship 10 Emperors from the Nguyen Dynasty.
Here, you will listen to the stories of each kings of Nguyen Dynasty and understand more about the culture of ancestors worshiping in Vietnam

Stop At: The Noon Gate (Cua Ngo Mon), Imperial City Imperial Citadel, Hue 520000 Vietnam

As an important part of the Hue Imperial Citadel, which was recognised by UNESCO as a World’s Heritage Site in 1993, Noon Gate is a huge U-shaped construction consisting of a brick and stone foundation and a wooden pavilion with terracotta tiles.

The project aims to prevent water leakage from the foundation and to preserve the upper pavilion, known as Lau Ngu Phung (Pavilion of Five Phoenixes).

Built in 1837 under the reign of Emperor Minh Mang (1820-40) of the Nguyen Dynasty (1802 – 1945), the structure seriously damaged during the decades of wars against the French and Americans.

Stop At: Tomb of Khai Dinh, Khai Dinh, 530000 Vietnam

Located on Chau Chu mountain. Khai Dinh Tomb is special with strange architecture, unlike the tombs of the previous kings. It is a mixture of many different cultures. At the first glance, Khai Dinh tomb is like a castle in Europe, because it was built on a concrete slope. Indigenous materials such as wood, stone, brick and lime here are just a negligible amount, overwhelming by the modern materials.

Stop At: Thien Mu Pagoda, Kim Long Road Huong Long Village, Hue 532761 Vietnam

This is the oldest pagoda and also the symbol of Hue city. Right in front of Thien Mu pagoda, you will find Phuoc Duyen tower – 21m tall and has 7 floors, each floor is there a Statue of Buddha . Inside the tower, there is a spiral staircase leading up to the top floor, where a golden Statue of Buddha used to be there.
