Itinerary
Day 1: Da Nang or Hoi An to Hue
Stop At: Hai Van Pass, Phu Tho Vietnam
Ride past scenic beach front ,to the incredible Hai Van Pass, 21 km of sweeping bends past jungle covered mountains, to some of the most famous coastal views in Central Vietnam
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Lang Co Beach, Hue Vietnam
Lang Co Lagoon famous for giant square fishing nets, and other fishing practices special to village communities amomg the area.
Here we break for a traditional local lunch, in a special spot only locals enjoy.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: City of Ghosts – An Bang Cemetery, An Bang Village, Phu Vang District, Vinh An 530000 Vietnam
Vietnams most luxurious resting place , has to be seen to be believed, only access is by small jeep or Motorcycle , way off the tourist map.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Hue Imperial City (The Citadel), Hue Vietnam
Travelling through continually unfolding vistas of
rice paddies and riding small roads through the
countryside, we make our way to Hue city.
We’ll finish the day with a visit to the Imperial Cita-
del of Hue, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and
home to the last emperors of Vietnam.

Day 2: Hue to Khe Sanh
Stop At: Tam Giang Lagoon, Hue 530000 Vietnam
Taking the small back roads out of Hue city, we’ll cross the beautiful Tam Giang lagoon
before following the coast through small fishing villages and aqua-farming ponds.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Vinh Moc Tunnel, Vinh Th_ch, Dong Ha 520000 Vietnam
We’ll then enjoy a local-style lunch at Vinh Moc and have a chance to visit the incredi-
ble underground tunnel network at Vinh Moc village. The entire village lived under-
ground for 8 years to escape the American bombing! A truly amazing place.

Stop At: Demilitarized Zone, Vietnam
Next, is a visit the 17th Parallel marker where you can see the famous Hien Luong
bridge before taking Route 9 past the remains of many US Bases and into the moun-
tains and cross the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) from the war time.

Stop At: Khe Sanh Combat Base, Huong Hoa District, Khe Sanh Vietnam
Khe Sanh City where we rest up and reflect on the history shared today , and the amazing routes travlled via mountain villagers and minority tribes .
Duration: 2 hours

• Breakfast: We start the day with local morning dishes with many flavours and some fresh fruits , local famous coffee and juices
• Lunch: Local style lunch and experince local coffee or a fresh coconut

Day 3: Khe Sanh to Phong Nha
Stop At: Khe Sanh Combat Base, Huong Hoa District, Khe Sanh Vietnam
The day starts with a visit to the Khe Sanh combat base. The longest battle of all the wars in Vietnam
took place here and we can see tanks, helicopters, and planes still sitting on the runway as well as a
small museum. A deeply profound and thought provoking experience.

Stop At: Phong Nha Caves, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park 510000 Vietnam
Next, we’ll join the Ho Chi Minh Trail West road. One of the best roads in Asia for great scenery and
seeing traditional ways of life. With great mountains and thick jungle, this road should be on every-
one’s bucket list.
We’ll then ride through the coffee plantations before climbing a 1100 meter mountain pass covered in
lush jungle foliage..

Stop At: Phong Nha Cave, Phong NHA, Bố Trạch District, Quang Binh Province 511860, Vietnam

In the mountains and jungle, we’ll find small wooden stilt house villages where the hill tribes live a
peaceful, traditional lifestyle.
As we come to the start of the giant limestone Karst formation mountains we can stop for lunch in a
small hill tribe town.
After carrying on through more spectacular mountains, more breathtaking views and more amazing
riding, we’ll finally enter Phong Nha National Park, a UNESCO Heritage area of natural beauty. There,
we’ll follow the historic Victory Road down to the river and finish at the hotel.
