This tour highlights 12km – 15km of the Ho Chi Minh trail, through the Abandoned Valley, exploring the national park tropical forest, swimming, and exploring the other exit of the now famous Dark Cave, and E Cave (also called the Water Palace) where is one of the most pristine river caves in the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park as it is situated in a completely unspoiled environment. The Abandoned Valley with an area of 2,000 ha, converging many forms of terrain, from limestone mountains, non-Karst terrain, flat land, caves to underground streams and primeval forests. More specifically, Abandoned Valley is a hidden place of biological diversity. It is an opportunity for us to better understand the biodiversity values of the world natural heritage forest of Phong Nha National Park.

Stop At: Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, Quang Binh Province
Once you are ready, we head directly to the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park and unto the trail-head to Abandoned Valley. The going is 6 km trekking along narrow pathways, climb over giant boulders and navigate through streams to make the way into the beautiful and fertile. The reward for this hard trekking is a fantastic view of the many flora and fauna species found along the path. There is a wide variety of flora in this area ranging from towering hard wood trees hundreds of years old to delicate blooming flowers.
