Bac Kan Province Trip Overview
This three-day tour combines adventure with cultural discovery as you spend your days exploring 3 different caves, dry cave Hua Ma, the tunnel of Puong Cave and the river cave Lo Mo. On top of these caves, you’ll also visit national parks and spend your nights in ethnic village homestays. Although there are several huge caves in Central Vietnam, Lo Mo Cave is a major new discovery in the north and another great reason to visit Ba Be National Park, an area of limestone karst mountains surrounding spectacular lakes. This cave is yet to be documented by geologists and is sure to bring out your inner explorer.

Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Be National Park (B,D)
Stop At: Ba Be National Park, Ba Be National Park, Bac Kan Province
Pick you up at Hanoi Old quarter. drive you to Thai Nguyen, where you’ll visit the Museum of the Culture of the Ethnic Minorities of Vietnam followed by lunch at a local street restaurant. After lunch we’ll take you the rest of the way to Ba Be National Park, arriving in the early afternoon and first stopping by Hua Ma Cave…

Day 2: Lo Mo Cave Expedition (B,L,D)
Stop At: Phuong Hoang Cave and Mo Ga Stream, Vo Nhai District, Thai Nguyen 250000 Vietnam
After breakfast then quick drive you’ll reach Lo Mo Cave, where you’ll spend about three hours exploring this 4km deep river cave, so far uncharted by geologists. We will of course provide you with the necessary gear, like hardhats and strong headlamps. The cave dramatically widens once you pass the initial entrance, and presents some great opportunity for excellent photographs. …
