This 5-hour 4×4 adventure tour is specially designed for our clients arriving via passenger liner. You will be met & picked up at the Walvis Bay port where your cruise ship will be docking. Before heading out to Sandwich Harbour we first make a stop at the Walvis Bay Lagoon to admire the flamingos and occasionally a great white pelican, flow the Walvis Bay Salt Refiners with all its pink salt lacks. Now we are off to the Nambi Desert -Sandwich Harbour, one of Southern Africa’s richest and unique wetlands. Wedging between the sea and dunes "if tides permit"; if tides forbid, surf the dunes up to the many convenient lookout spots. Lots of time are granted to explore the area as well as photograph opportunities. Finally, enjoy a light picnic lunch with some cold beverages with a natural desert backdrop, then hit the dunes for some more excitement before concluding your adventure to the Kuiseb River Delta, a dry riverbed where you can occasionally see springbok, oryx, or even ostrich.

All other companies want you to use or find your own transport to Walvisbay and Pelican Point, we include transport and we will pick you up and drop you off at any accommodation along the coast. We include a light lunch and local drinks. We use new modern unsinkable Kayaks easy for anybody to use and that do not capsize. Everybody gets a life jacket and the guide will coach you on the use of the Kayak. No previous experience required. Its a must do for the active traveler. Should a group want to Kayak at another place that's also possible, contact us and lets see if its possible.

Exploring the coastline of Walvis Bay, Namibia. Pelican Point is a great place to see marine life in Walvis Bay—a colony of thousands of Cape Fur seals makes its home there year-round. This tour takes you along the lagoon and salt mines to the point in a 4×4 vehicle and provides the kayaking know-how to cruise the protected part of the peninsula near the colony. For those who love to be outdoors, surrounded by animals, and without causing explicit alterations to the routine of these natural creatures. Pelican Point provides a home to thousands Cape Fur seals, lots of Heaviside's and Bottle-nose dolphins, black-backed jackals, flamingos and pelicans

Meet a guide driver at your hotel or at the Walvis Bay Waterfront, getting an early start on the day to enjoy cooler morning temperatures as you travel. On your way to Sandwich Harbour, visit the Walvis Bay Lagoon, which is an inhabitant to hundreds of thousands of flamingos and other birds. Next, learn about the Walvis Bay Salt Refiners, Namibia's biggest salt refinery and than head into the Namib Desert, searching out the wildlife and desert plants that thrive in this harsh landscape. This is a coastal highlight tour, touching all the interesting sites in the Desert area in one tour. You get to experience this beautiful little Sea resort and all the unique features in the Namib Desert, as well as learning about the harsh History and Geology of this area. This is a Walvis Bay Tour going to Swakopmund and back to Walvis Bay. This tour is not a private tour. If you wish to have a private tour, you will be required to pay for the extra seats in the car.

We start the journey by picking you up at your accommodation, we travel past Long Beach and Swakopmund .We will see the shipwreck namely Zeila between Swakopmund and Henties Bay. We will head out to Spitzkoppe. Where we will view and climb Namibia's own Matterhorn. Namibia has wide open spaces, clear skies, thousands of seals, beautiful Rock formations, age-old Bushman paintings, and unique desert Plants. A must-see in Namibia!

This is an exciting and interesting shore excursion starting and ending in the port of Walvis Bay. We explore Walvis Bay town and visit the famous wetlands south of Walvis Bay which teams with thousands of flamingos and numerous other shore and seabirds. Afterwards we visit some of the highest dunes in this coastal area. We continue into the Namib Desert and marvel at the so called "moonscape", a rugged and rocky scenery reminding us of the surface of the moon. Our next destination is an oasis in the Swakop Canyon, a former farm which has now been turned into a pleasant resort with a restaurant in the middle of the "Moonscape". Afterwards we return to the coast and visit the historical town of Swakopmund which was founded in 1892 by the German Colonial Reich. Your guide will relate the history of Swakopmund and explain the distinct colonial character and origin of the various historical builidngs. We return to Walvis Bay port in the afternoon.

Drive along the beautiful coast where you will see a shipwreck, lichen fields, and the popular fishing village of Henties Bay. Then head onwards to the famous Spitzkoppe mountain for some relaxation and the chance for fantastic photography. The desert is a beautiful landscape, and you will see quite a few variations on it, from the Dunes to the flat gravel plains of the coast, the Swakop river canyon, and the grassy plains, Spitzkoppe rises majestically before you. The rock art will be explained to you by a local guide with in-depth knowledge.
