Kawiti Glow Worm Cave Tour & Opua Forest Walk
This tour is for Cruise Ship customers and all members of the public staying in the Bay of Islands.
We visit the Kawiti Glow Worm Caves, the Hundertwasser Toilets and take a leisurely 30-minute walk through the Opua Forest. All tours are approximately 3 hours long and leave from the Waitangi wharf at 9.30 am on Cruise Ship days. On other days the tour leaves from the Paihia I-site at 9.30am.
The price includes Cave entry, and the Maori guides are members of the family who have owned the attraction for over 400 years.
Bay Combo Tour – 60 mins (min 2)
Have awesome thrills on a V8 350 Chev Trike with a 60 minute tour from Paihia. For those that love adrenaline, experience the sense of freedom with no helmets (full seatbelts) on this beast whilst enjoying the scenic Bay of Islands.

Explore the Waitangi MTB Park on Electric Bikes
Race around New Zealand Forest and Bush at the Waitangi Mountain Bike Park on the very popular Electric Full Suspension Mountain Bikes. The park is only located a short drive away from Paihia. There are plenty of trails for all abilities, and on an E-Bike, it will mean that you can do four times the amount of trails you would do on a conventional bike. However, do not think that because it has a motor you are cheating – these are pedal assist (no throttle) so you still need to keep on pedalling!
