Uco Valley

This is a luxury, small group (nine people) wine tour of Mendoza´s fine wine region.  We spend the day visiting the very best wineries (three to four in one day) and trying the best wines in the most beautiful locations. A multiple course gourmet lunch with wine pairings is included. A guide accompanies you throughout the day and gives insights and anecdotes regarding wine and Mendoza. Many of our guides are trained sommeliers or winemakers. The tour is in one language and the wineries and region (Lujan de Cuyo or Uco Valley) differ from day-to-day as there are many amazing places to see. Our tours are fun and casual with the focus on exceptional wines, creative food and stunning settings. The wineries we visit differ from day to day but are from a select group of top-quality producers.

Spend a wonderful unforgettable day, visiting the wineries of Uco Valley and tasting great wines while enjoying the Andes Mountains views whit a glass of Malbec. We will pick you up at your accommodation in the morning (usually 9.10 am) and start our drive South through the iconic Route 40 to a point where we will turn to the West to start going up to the Valley. It takes about an hour fifteen to arrive to the Uco Valley. During this day, we will visit: – 3 wineries, with tastings of 4/5 wines and tour in 2 of them and a Gourmet courses lunch paired with wines in the third one. – We usually visit: Domaine Bousquet, Andeluna and La Azul. (Also: Salentein, Finca Sophenia, Finca Adelma, Familia Blanco or Tupungato Divino, depending on the day and availabilities). – We will start our way back to the city at around 3.45 to be in Mendoza at 5.30 pm PLEASE NOTE that during a day WE VISIT 3 of the 5 wineries listed below, depending on availabilities. Enjoy a full-day outing where you can appreciate the magesticity of the renowned Uco Valley and the imposing Andean mountain range that emerges from the valley. We start in the early morning, passing him to look for his hotel to go directly to an incredible viewpoint (Christ the Redeemer of the uco valley), where you can acquire a 360° view of the valley and where you can visualize through the billboard of the place, the different geological and meteorological processes that give this valley the optimal characteristics for making world-class wines. From that point we will leave for the facilities of the family winery La Azul. La Azul is a family-owned winery that produces a limited quantity of the best quality bottles of wine. A tour and tasting will be held in the cellar. Finally we will enter the heart of the Andes by an off road road and cap the route with small trekking between vertical vertical granite walls.
