This two hour round trip (~one hour on the water ) is our most popular trip, and has the longest season, early May to late September. Your adventure begins with a 10 minute float followed by Class II rapids. Class II is an excellent introduction to white water as it offers a mix of splashy thrills, and calm floats. Suitable for ages 5 and up. For groups larger than 8 people, please contact us before booking.

Since the 10th of September 2023 access has been banned to the Benagil cave for swimmers. Vagabundo Travel don’t like fun police, swimming was great for 7 years, but we now have 2 x 2-seat kayaks. The authorities have now completely banned standing on the sand inside the cave. You will however get a pretty spectacular look at the cave from the comfort of a kayak. Our kayaks are quicker than the ones rented at Benagil and as we include transport to and from Lagos, beer and sangria and a picnic lunch it really is a no brainier. The kayak trip is dependent on weather conditions. On the odd occasion, waves at Benagil mean the lifeguards put up either a yellow or red flag and we are not permitted to use our kayaks. We will endeavour to inform you if this is the case prior to your booked trip.

Hop aboard the Verde Canyon Railroad for a 4-hour rail journey through the untouched and unspoiled Verde Valley. During each low tide, the Desaru Coast becomes alive with a myriad of interesting and secretive creatures. A hidden world often visited by the curious among us but seldom understood. Many interesting creatures that have been patiently waiting out the high tide appear during low tide to feed and interact. During the walk, be amazed the patterns on the beach made by the sand bubbler crabs, moon snails and other crustaceans and molluscs.
