Join us for an unforgettable safari experience from Zanzibar to the biggest National Park in Africa, Selous! Flights, transport, park fees and lunch are included. You will be picked up by our driver early in the morning and brought to the airport of Zanzibar. From here you will fly to the airstrip in Selous, where you will arrive a short flight after. The wildlife in Selous is waiting for you! Once you arrive you will be awaited by our driver guide. From this moment your safari adventure will start! Don´t forget to pack your camera, as you will be surrounded by wildlife, with the National Park having one of the best wildlife densities in Tanzania!! During lunch time you will experience an authentic bush lunch in the middle of the National Park. Enjoy the second half of your game drive before you are brought back to the airstrip of Selous Game Reserve. From here you will fly back to Zanzibar, from where our driver will be waiting for you to bring you back to your hotel.

Flying from Zanzibar 07:00 and arrive in Selous 8:45, pick up by our driver guide at Airstrip then proceed for full day game drive exploring Selous Game Reserve. Picnic lunch shall be provided and after game drive 15:00, driver will drive to Airstrip to catch your flight to Zanzibar, and flight will take off 16:00 and arrive in Zanzibar 17:30. The Selous Game Reserve is a protected area in southern Tanzania. It covers a total area of 50,000 km² and has additional buffer zones. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982 due to its wildlife diversity and undisturbed nature. Large numbers of elephants, black rhinoceroses, cheetahs, giraffes, hippopotamuses and crocodiles live in this immense sanctuary, which measures 50,000 km2 and is relatively undisturbed by human impact. The park has a variety of vegetation zones, ranging from dense thickets to open wooded grasslands.

Most of the reserve remains set aside for game hunting through a number of privately leased hunting concessions, but a section of the northern park along the Rufiji River has been designated a photographic zone and is a popular tourist destination. There are several high end lodges and camps mainly situated along the river and lake systems in this area. Rather difficult road access means most visitors arrive by small aircraft from Dar es Salaam, though train access is also possible.

We Depart in Zanzibar at 0800am or Dar es Salaam at 0820am on a shared charter plane for an hour flight to an Airstrip in Selous Game Reserve upon arrival proceed with the game drive to enjoy what nature will provide! You will see elephants, Lions, Elands, Leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, Wild-dogs, Lesser Kudu, hippos and crocodiles live in this immense sanctuary, which measures 50,000 sq. km, practically undisturbed by human impact.
