Scenic Road

The Hāna Highway is a 64.4-mile long stretch of spectacular views of rainforest, waterfalls, beaches and coastline. On the east after Kalepa Bridge, the highway continues to Kīpahulu on the Piilani Highway. Although Hāna is only about 52 miles from Kahului, it takes about 2.5 hours to drive when no stops are made as the highway is very winding and narrow and passes over 59 bridges, 46 of which are only one lane wide. There are approximately 620 curves along Route 360 from just east of Kahului to Hāna, virtually all of it through lush, tropical rainforest. Many of the concrete and steel bridges date back to 1910 and all but one are still in use. This full-day trip to the Hana coast has the best scenic drive along the shorelines of Maui.

Most of the travelers who visit Sri Lanka find it interesting to visit Ella. Road trip to Ella from Kandy is a scenic one as the vehicle will be driving through the mountain area where beautiful landscaping, tea estates and natural places like water falls, view points are located. This is a group tour and we stop at all these places for you to walk around, take photos and spend some quality time. We pick you from your hotel in Kandy and drop off at the hotel in Ella. Departs at 9am from Emu Point Boat pens for 4 hours of wild life history and fun. This is a sheltered water cruise with no open sea. We cross to Green Island which was Western Australia’s first vegetable garden and is now home to one of only four Pelican breeding grounds in Western Australia. Then cross Oyster Harbour to the Kalgan River. Seen regularly are Pelicans Eagles Hawks and a wide range of other bird life. You are served Tea Coffee and a hot savoury Damper while listening to a live and humorous commentary. Returning across the harbour to the boat pens at 1pm. Oh yes did I mention it’s FUN?

With plenty of picturesque scenery, there will be lots of photo opportunities. Ride to the historic Timboon Trestle Bridge, stop at Schulz Organic Creamery and Cafe, or stop for food, local produce, sweets and ice cream in Timboon and Port Campbell.
