The South coast tour includes five of the most amazing sites in Iceland with fire, water and ice, what makes the three colors in the Iceland national flag. We only use minibus with air-condition and free Wi-Fi on board. Traveling in minibus makes your experience more enjoyably. You will get more personal guides and more time to enjoy each site. You will be guided by experienced or certificated tourist guide. We try to schedule the tour that way we are not at the heaviest rush hours on each of the sites. That way it makes the tour even more enjoyable for our customers. We pick up from bus-stops down town as well as all Hotels and guesthouses in Reykjavík area. You go straight from pick up on the tour, no changing buses at bus terminal.

A small group tour by modern, comfortable minibus with a maximum 19 passengers and a driver/guide. The guides commentary is always in English and fill the day with fun, facts, figures and of course spectacular sights and scenery. This 10 to 11 hour tour starts and ends in Reykjavik.. The main sights of the day, with longer stops to explore are Skogafoss waterfall, Solheimajokull Glacier, Reynisfjara black sand beach, near to the village of Vik and Dyrholaey headland and Seljalandsfoss waterfall. At the guides discretion, guides may also make a couple of unscheduled stops, depending upon whether the guide feels that there is extra time available and upon weather and road conditions.  Lunch is not included, but there will be stops during the tour at restaurants or gas stations where food can be purchased and restrooms available.

The day’s stops are Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, Gljufrabui Waterfall, Skogafoss Waterfall, and Reynisfjara black sand beach. Your hotel will be somewhere between the towns of Vik and Hofn, and your guide will tell you the Northern Light Forecast for viewing from the hotel. The second day begins with an Ice Cave, followed by Jokulsarlon and Diamond Beach, and additional stops at Eldhraun Lava Fields, and the Bridge of the Volcanoes. These stops may change based on time permitting and weather conditions. On our way back to Reykjavik we may stop in Vik if time permits. The minimum age for participants is eight years. Be sure to pack warm clothing and comfortable shoes to enjoy every aspect of this experience. Dinner can be late for some advise bringing snacks to prevent hungry spells. Please note that December is very busy on the South Coast, and this tour fills up quickly.
