If the weather is good and participants are physically fit you can even kayak to a nearby island to explore.

This type of fishing is easy so even beginners can easily do it. If a school of mackerel gets attracted by the bait you can catch as many as 20+ of fish. A local will be watching over the whole process helping out if you struggle. A must try activity when traveling to an island!

On this guided tour we will take our guests on an exploratory walk around Ojika's downtown. We will visit some shops in search of local produce and local specialties, go see bonito being smoked, visit an old letterpress studio as well as a fishing port. On our way, we will talk Ojika's history and see some curious sights hidden from a tourist's eye. The goal of this tour is to familiarize our guests with the neighborhood they will be staying in so they can get the most out of their stay in Ojika.

The location is amazing, with a house being an old Japanese folk house with a bathhouse and gallery inside. The instructor is very welcoming and friendly. And rice cakes taste amazing with different toppings that the instructor will prepare for you in advance. This activity is a must for all the foodies out there.

The owner of the workshop is very passionate and determined to preserve this craft as Ojika's culture overall. Inside the studio, you will find thousands of old types. The sight will leave you in awe! This activity is greatly enjoyed by those who love crafts. Children, as well as adults, really enjoy making their own designs and imprinting them using the press machine.
