Waiheke Island Scenic Wine Tasting Tour
This beautiful, boutique, authentic, scenic wine tour offers the best views and wines of Waiheke Island. You will visit three of the island’s world-renowned vineyards for wine tastings and a lunch stop at The Batch Winery, which boasts breathtaking 360-degree views of the Hauraki Gulf. From this vineyard, you can enjoy the stunning sights of Auckland and the iconic Rangitoto Volcano.
During the tour, our local authentic Tour Guides will give engaging commentary and teach you about the Island the culture and the people of Waiheke.
Our itinerary starts with tastings at 11 AM, followed by lunch (at your own expense) at a stunning venue, then we will head to Onetangi Valley for additional wine tastings. The grand finale will take place at The Mudbrick Vineyard. All vineyards offer breathtaking views, showcasing picturesque villages, beautiful beaches, lush vineyards, and charming homes.

Catch the 9.15am '' Island Direct'' bookable on line, or Fullers 0900 ferry to Waiheke, LOOK OUT for your name on the black welcome board, or wait at the I-Site information booth in the ferry terminal at 1000. Best to use the ferries washrooms, as the terminals often experience long ques. We then embark on a scenic tour taking in some of the wonderful sites fully commentated, before visiting 3 of Waihekes finest boutique vineyards. We recommend you book your own lunch reservation during the busy summer months. Mudbrick Archive 2pm or Oyster Inn, Fenice or Vino Vino 2.15pm. Or you can just choose one of many local cafes and eateries in the sea side village of Oneroa. Transfers provided back the ferry terminal at 3.45pm, or you may chose to stay on and enjoy more time on the Island and make your own way back to the ferry .
Waiheke Island Vineyards and Bush Walk
This spectacular walk has a little bit of everything – bush, beach, headlands and vineyards.
We start with a walk through restored and regenerating bush up to the headland for some breathtaking views of the islands of the Hauraki Gulf.
We continue through lush, established bush tracks and rolling hills, where you’ll enjoy lovely views of valleys, vineyards and the sea.
There’s time for wine tasting and/or lunch at two of Waiheke’s best-loved vineyards – Mudbrick Vineyard or Cable Bay Vineyards – with tasting options to suit all budgets.
Waiheke Island: Taste + Graze with Sightseeing, Beer, Wine,
Your delightful journey begins at Mudbrick – one of Waiheke Island's iconic
spots. Here, you will enjoy a wine tasting experience that will introduce you to
the varietals grown on Waiheke Island.
Afterwards, we will head to Onetangi where you will visit The Heke – a lovely
craft distillery and brewery set in four acres of serene gardens. Here, you can
enjoy some of the best craft beers that the island has to offer.
A short distance from Onetangi lies the beautiful Stonyridge Vineyard – famous
for its award-winning Bordeaux-style wines, including their signature Larose.
You can relax amidst the vineyard's cool shade and enjoy a platter lunch with
wine at the Veranda Café.
Our journey then takes you to the renowned All Press Olive Groves. Waiheke
Island is known for its unique microclimate, which produces high-quality extra
virgin olive oil. During your visit, you will taste a variety of locally handcrafted
extra virgin olive oils and learn about olive growing, harvesting, and milling.
Half Day Waiheke Wine Tour
Catch the 9 am ferry from Auckland City to arrive on Waiheke just a short 35 minutes later. We will pick you up from the ferry at Matiatia wharf where our Magic Tour begins.
Scenic drive along Oneroa bay via Delamore Lodge to the town art centre and shops making our way to Palm beach look out point via little Oneroa beach our 1st stop for photo opportunity followed by a short walk to the beach make our way to Casita Miro for our 1st wine tasting followed by a dramatic entrance to the best beach on the island Onetangi beach our 2nd photo opportunity stop, followed by Olive oil tasting at Rangihoua Estate onward to Mudbrick for 2nd wine tasting followed by lunch (Not included) finally we drop you for the 2pm ferry .

Private Vineyard Bush Walk Tour in Waiheke Island

Waiheke Island Wine Escape Tour
You will be met by your guide at Pier 2 where the ferries for Waiheke Island depart from downtown. The trip to the island through the beautiful Hauraki Gulf takes around 35 mins aboard a large “Fullers”ferry that has bar and refreshment facilities onboard.
Take a scenic Tour around to the northern side of the Island taking in Oneroa Beach, Palm Bay picturesque Onetangi Beach.
On the island you will visit and enjoy premium tastings at three vineyards with a choice from Mudbrick Vineyard, Stonyridge, Cable Bay, Obsidian, Tantalus and Te Motu.
Sample award winning Olive Oil from Rangihoua Olive growers. Their oils have made it into the Flos Ole’ Italian guide of the world’s best Olive Oils.
An hour and a quarter is located to take lunch a restaurant at your own expense. Lunch is not included in the tariff but we can recommend or arrange a reservation at Mudbrick Vineyard Bistro, Cable Bay, Tantalus or other cafe to suit your budget.
We return on the 4.00pm Ferry to downtown Auckland.
