Hop into a Toyota Land Cruiser with your expert guide and head north from Moab to the backcountry entrance of Arches National Park and avoid the crowds. Our first stop is to see dinosaur footprints. For millions of years this area was teeming with dinosaurs. We pass Balanced Rock, one of the most iconic features of the Park, standing a staggering 128 feet. Landscape look familiar? Indiana Jones, and Thelma and Louise have scenes shot here. The 4X4 trail into the backcounty climbs a short but steep rock wall passing sandstone fins, towering pinnacles and tall spires known as the Marching Men. We stop at Tower Arch for an optional hike. As you travel along the track, hear informative commentary about the geology, wildlife and history of the park. We make another stop at Eye of the Whale for an optional hike to a seldom visited slick rock playground named Herdina Park. After exploring the backcountry we exit past the three gossips and Park Avenue before your guide returns you to Moab.

Along the way are some of Utah’s most impressive geologic features like Fisher Towers, Castleton Tower, the Priest and Nuns, and more. As for the waters here along the Colorado River, it stays pretty warm from late spring to early fall. You’ll spend most of your time floating, with a few Class II rapids to cool you off along the way. Expect plenty of fascinating interpretations and fun stories from your river guide on this mild trip!

E-bikes are a quiet, fun and family friendly way to explore Moab. Kane Creek has many ancient sites and petroglyph panels. Our guides will stop at several and discuss the similarities and possible meanings of some of the glyphs. This is a trip down a beautiful canyon with amazing views and explores the edges of Moab Outback. This trip is about 1/2 on pavement and 1/2 on a dirt road with cliffs. Adult Participants must be 5' and youth must be 5'2 to fit the bikes. Please let us know ahead of time if your group will need the smaller bikes by correctly filling our paperwork.

Guests will hike their way on the rock fins towards drainages and canyons that lead to two rappels. The first rappel sends visitors into the slot canyon, Medieval Chamber. Rappelling through this canyon displays the beautiful layers of sandstone that have been dispersed over millions of years. The canyon then opens up to make way for the second rappel. This unique free hanging rappel is a breathtaking 120 feet next to Morning Glory Natural Bridge. The bridge measures 243 feet in width, making it one of the longest natural land bridges in the United States. Once at the bottom visitors are able to enjoy the scenic hike Grandstaff Canyon towards the Colorado River.

At the trailhead, your experience begins with a slow climb up a very narrow rock. You will be shocked as our experienced driver and tricked out Jeep maneuvers through steep and rocky obstacles. On the way, we will stop so you can see some dinosaur footprints in Moab’s iconic red rock! A few steeper climbs up and down will end at the very famous overlook, where you can view the backside of Arches National Park and the Colorado River. It’s a view you will never forget! After the overlook, we make our way back the way we came. This off-road experience offers adventure and scenery! This trail is designed for those who want to get out and enjoy the great scenery of Moab, Utah and considered easy, however if you are scared of heights, this tour may not be best suited for you. On the Hurrah Pass trail you will have an up close experience of thousand year old Fremont and Ancestral Puebloan Petroglyphs with stops to take in the detail and history. Climb through the geologic time periods along the steep switchbacks to arrive at the grand finale of the Hurrah Pass Overlook, located near Canyonlands National Park.
