40 kilometros from Puerto Iguazú, are the famous Mines of Wanda, where is a deposit of semiprecious stones of quartz crystals, amethysts and topazes. Two of the most important tourist centers in the city of Cusco are Maras and Moray. During the tour, we will visit the Salt Mines or Salineras, which consist of approximately 2,000 small pools fed by a salty spring that flows from the mountain. We will also explore the Moray Archaeological Complex, a unique archaeological site in the region. It consists of giant natural depressions that were used by the Incas, who built agricultural terraces or platforms with irrigation channels, essentially creating a prototype of a greenhouse.

Wieliczka Salt Mine is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It illustrates the historic stages of the development of mining techniques in Europe from the 13th to the 20th centuries. It has hundreds of kilometers of galleries with works of art, underground chapels and statues sculpted in the salt, making a fascinating pilgrimage into the past. You will discover the history of one of the most important metal mines in Europe, the Monteponi mine with the Pozzo Sella mining site are the main structures of Sardinian and European mining archeology. With experienced and certified local guides, you will visit and learn about the development of the area and the history of Pozzo Sella, a building born in 1876 to solve the problem of groundwater that limited mining production.
