Pumas Rescue Center & Llanos Del Cortes Waterfall Swimming
PUMAS RESCUE CENTER
We save and raises ocelots, jaguars, cougars, margays, jaguarundis and tiger cats. Most of the cats in this facility have been rescued from injury or were oephanaed. The shelter today generally has around 80 to 100 individual animals under its care, many of which are endangered species. The shelter the visitor can photograph the normally-elusive jaguar and five other species of native Costa Rican felines: puma (also known as cougar and mountain lion, depending on where it is found), ocelot, oncilla and margay. Other species of mammals and birds finding are the gray fox, coatimundi, white-faced monkey, white-tailed deer, paca, the keel-billed toucan, orange-fronted parakeet, red-lored parrot, scarlet macaw.

Museo Atlantico for non-certified divers
Museo Atlántico is the only underwater sculpture museum in Europe. For those people who do not have a dive license, we offer a special program to visit the Museo Atlántico. The program consists of three sections and takes 5 hours in total. It begins with a try dive from the shore. For this first dive we explain the most important dive theory in a 20 minute safety briefing. You will then dive from the shore with one of our instructors to a maximum depth of 6 meters. After completing this dive, you will learn a few basic dive skills in the pool together with your instructor. After a short break we board the boat to the Museo Atlántico. The sculptures are at a depth of 14 meters. As this is your second dive you are not allowed to dive deeper than 12 meters. We will organize a dive with a private guide to keep you at 12 meters. At this depth, you will have a perfect view of the statues.

Hike to the Celeste River is the sight of an unusual natural phenomenon where the river and its rocks suddenly turn light blue due to minerals washed off the ground into the river. These minerals are the result of the rivers location on the sides of the dormant Tenorio Volcano and the remaining vents from the depths of the volcano.
We will then follow the river downstream for a refreshing encounter with an enormous waterfall that spills down the sides of the volcano.
