El Rincon is one of the most beautiful areas in the town La Orotava. Located at the spectacular and very green north coast of the Island Tenerife, it trends from the sea to the mountains of the Orotava-valley and offers wonderful views to the Teide vulcano as well as to the sea. Its climate is milder as in the rest of the valley because it is right at the coast, making it a preferred place for agriculture and nice, long walks. Following the principles of permaculture, Banana EcoPlantation's crops are of enormous biodiversity. On the farm there are more than 15 varieties of aromatic plants scattered over the surface of the plantation. We also plant oats in between our banana trees. This way we manage to create our own ecosystem and be 95% self-sufficient. The perfect activity for all those interested in experience first hand how we understand and live sustainability and the true agriculture of the future in one of Tenerife's most wonderful regions.

This excursion gives you the opportunity to get to know the essence of Tenerife in a single day. The island of Tenerife is characterized by its varied nature. We will be surprised by the majestic Los Gigantes Cliffs and then to the Garachico viewpoint. Later we will visit the thousand-year-old dragon tree of Icod de los Vinos, the largest and recognized as a national monument in 1917. Later you will visit the Villa de la Orotava on foot, and in it the house of the Balconies. Once finished, we go to Puerto de la Cruz where they have time to eat or go shopping, then we go to Villa de Candelaria. We take you high above the clouds up through the pine trees of the Corona Forest to the ancient landscape of the Teide volcano. We then watch the sun set over three other islands in the Canary archipelago with a glass of Cava to celebrate the everyday unique sunset. Stargazing takes place further up at a height of 2000m above sea level often above a blanket of clouds, a unique experience to have! A laser guided safari across the sky shows you constellations and relating the ancient Greek mythology behind them. With this tour you will be able to get to know the essence of Tenerife in one day. We will start the day by visiting the coastal town of Candelaria, where the Basilica of Candelaria is located, one of the most important places of worship in Tenerife. The excursion continues in La Orotava. Here we will explore places full of charm and culture such as La Casa de Los Balcones or the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. We will continue our trip in Garachico, a town whose history is marked by a volcanic eruption in 1706. We will walk through its historic center and visit such emblematic places as the natural pools of El Caletón or the Castillo de San Miguel. Here you will have free time to have lunch on your own or taste Canarian cuisine in one of the restaurants that we recommend. After this visit, we will enter the Teno Rural Park. Its winding roads will take us to Masca, a hamlet surrounded by spectacular cliffs that preserves its traditional Canarian architecture.

Travel to the past and enjoy visiting the house museum of La Casa de Los Balcones -also known as Casa Fonseca-, built in 1632. During this visit, you will be able to discover the lifestyle, uses and customs of a canarian family who lived in this house from the 20th century. The circuit begins on the first floor, where you can look at different rooms of the house, which is home to a big collection of antique objects of the owners. Between them, there are typical canarian objects and traditional tools that currently is not easy to find them. Then, you go downstairs to know how a winery works. After that, you will be able to relax on the inner courtyard surrounded by a stunning wooden balcony made with canarian tea pine.
