The House of Illusion presents a brand new show for 2025 At the House of Illusion, you will be taken on a journey through a mysterious world of comedy, sleight of hand, manipulation, escapology, and of course grand Illusion. You will be greeted by our attentive staff at the top of the grand staircase and will be escorted to our beautiful Houdini's Attic terrace or Houdini Lounge where you can enjoy a drink whilst you wait for your entrance into the theatre. The night begins as you are entertained at your tables by our close-up magicians, and presented with a delicious meal (with the dinner ticket) and all-inclusive drinks. The amazement starts to kick in as we explore a world full of mystery, magic, and bewilderment. You will be full of amazement as the performers leave you lost for words with shadowography, manipulation, theatre of the mind, and of course grand, mind-blowing Illusions! You will experience truly spectacular happenings all in the space of one night.

There are more than 70 exhibits waiting for you. And trust us they will try to deceive you. Among others you can get a photo in a room that totally defies the laws of gravity, you can have your friends head for your lunch, have a party in the middle of the day and only for the brave – a walk through the Vortex tunnel. At the end you will test your brain and patience while assembling our incredible mind games. Indulge yourself in a whole new experience and have fun with your friends or family. The Mystery House Raiatea invites you through a guided tour to discover more than 20 strange workshops that will put your senses to the test. Inspired by the mythical “Gravity Hills”, which, due to the absence of a visual horizon, give the illusion of seeing a road going up, when in reality it is going down. Some examples of the workshops presented are: – La Boussole Folle: a magnetic compass that disorients itself! – Foucault’s Pendulum: a pendulum that stops by itself! – The Infinite Arrow: an arrow that always points in the same direction! – The Reverse Slope: water or ping pong ball going up the slope! Our best guide is also the instigator of the project. Passionate about optical games and facts not explained a priori, Gérard will take you on a merry-go-round of illusions and change your point of view forever. With a good-natured mood and a desire to share his vision of bizarre things, Gérard will make you have a great time.

Kompong Phluk is a floating village located in the middle of Cambodia's largest lake, Tonle Sap. The term “floating” is a bit misleading: the houses are actually built on very tall stilts around 8 meters high. During the rainy season, the lake rises and covers the stilts, giving the illusion that the homes are floating in the water. We learned that these types of villages are built in the middle of the lake to make it easier for fishermen and rice farmers to gather during harvest season.This tour will take you into an enriching cultural immersion of Tonle Sap Lake called Kampong Phluk Village.
