Home to the Mount Lofty Ranges, dotted with unique and historic villages, cellar doors and spectacular landscapes, this tour will give you a taste of the region.

Small groups are defined as 24 passengers or less.) Take on the Majestic Murray River as you cruise on Captain Proud side paddle wheeler for a 2 course lunch and 3 hour cruise. Sit back and relax with purchases made from our licensed bar or up to observation area looking into wetlands taking in the views of the Mighty Murray.

‘Adelaide Highlights with Wine Tasting and Coast’ is a full day tour featuring some of Adelaide's finest experiences. With several pick-up points around Adelaide CBD this small group day tour offers a wonderful balance of sightseeing and wine tasting and packs a punch as far as must do highlights when visiting Adelaide. City Tour, Mount Lofty Lookout, 2 hours to explore Township of Hahndorf, then off to McLaren Vale to enjoy wine tasting and more sightseeing. Wine tasting at the beautiful Chapel Hill wines and the stunning Haselgrove Wines, photo opportunities and a scenic drive along the coastline with a 15 min stop in seaside suburb of Glenelg. You can choose to stay in Glenelg and watch the sunset, and catch the tram back to Adelaide at your convenience, or jump back on board and head back to Adelaide for drop off.

Settle down for a German platter (at your own cost) and then walk the street and discover the delights of Australia’s oldest German settlement. Mount Lofty, the highest peak in the Adelaide Hills, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and city of Adelaide. It's a popular destination for hiking, picnicking, and enjoying nature, with lush gardens and scenic walking trails.

Join Adelaide’s only hop-on hop-off Hahndorf and Adelaide Hills winery tour service and depart from the Adelaide CBD or get picked up in the region. A comfortable bus collects from the Stamford Plaza Hotel (Adelaide CBD) at mid-morning, then takes you out to the beautiful hills region surrounding the historic township of Hahndorf, to follow a looping circuit featuring 8-10 of the best wineries and venues in the area. Each circuit takes approximately 1-hour to complete, giving you plenty of time to sample that venue's offering. Along the way you are free to hop-on or off at any of 4 selected stops on the timetable. Bus returns to the city in the late afternoon, disembarking at approximately 5:00pm.

We have many stories, but our two favorites are honoring the Prussian 'old Lutherans' who escaped religious persecution to flee to South Australia. A place they didn't even know existed. The other is the one about the Prussian pioneering women and their courage and tenacity in saving the colony from starvation. You'll leave Hahndorf with stories to last a lifetime to share with family and friends.

Return to your hotel between 5-5:30pm

With over 23 years in Adelaide & the Tourism Industry we have great knowledge about Adelaide and Hahndorf. This is a Narrated Tour and is subject to change as sometimes we have requests to maybe go a longer way thru the Adelaide Hills weather permitting. Sometimes we may skip Mt Lofty. If you can't see it from the city we will waste are time going there, which may give us more time to visit another area along the way or spend more time in Hahndorf itself.
