This tour begins in Kralendijk, our capital. Due to the natural coral structure all around the island, Kralendijk is also known as "coral dike." The highlights on the south of Bonaire is rich in history and beauty, with spectacular ocean views and historical architecture. We will stop to take photos at the Salt flats, White or Yellow Slave Huts also the lighthouse. As you travel along and pass by the big salt hills that have been a part of Bonaire's history since the 17th century on our way to the Sorobon Beach for a beach break. The entire island of Bonaire is a protected marine park, and Sorobon Beach is situated in the center of it. A bay hidden amongst mangrove trees will take your breath away. Water up to your knees runs as far as the eye can see. The seagrass pastures attract a variety of sea life, so don't be shocked if a turtle passes by slowly.

First stop will be at SÃO DOMINGOS CITY to visit “Eco Centro” a perfect place for fauna and flora lovers, then short stop at ORGÃOS and PICOS CITY to admire two impressive mountains, Moving on to ASSOMADA CITY-with a lot of tourist attractions to be visited :its two famous markets, church and the museum, and the biggest and oldest tree(Kapok tree) in Cabo Verde with more than 700 years , next stop SERRA MALAGUETA NATURAL PARK, the view there is incredible due to its altitude (1000 meters), then 20min road to the most touristic city on the island –TARRAFAL CITY,It has the most beautiful beach on the island,there you can swim and have lunch then we will take the east coast road, stop at the VILLAGE OF RABELADOS -rebels who resisted the Portuguese colonizer in 1941, move on to CALHETA CITY- a fishing area head on to Santa Cruz city- to visit the largest banana plantation.

Big Island Farms is spread across 64 acres along the breathtaking Hamakua Coast overlooking the Pacific Ocean with panoramic views from Waipio to Hilo. The farm is carved into two large sections by the historic Hamakua canal which brings water from the pristine Kohala forest preserve and provides irrigation to the lower (makai) section of the property. The upper (Mauka) portion, which is above the canal, of the farm is planted in organically grown Macadamia nuts and Kukui nuts (candle nut). The lower portion below the canal is a diverse collection of permaculture food forests, a variety of themed gardens, coconut orchards and living spaces for our Big Island educational programs. The gardens contain over 200 unique species of edible and medicinal plants including: Coffee, Banana, Papaya, Cassava, Taro, Ginger, Turmeric, Cacao, Avocado, Breadfruit, Coconut, Sugar Can, Sweet Potatoes, Kukui, Ti (KI) and a wide variety of Bamboos just to name a few.
