7：00-8:40 Pick up and go to Dujiangyan Panda Base 8:40-9:00 Complete registration procedure; put on the work suit and gloves, wear the volunteer pass card. 9:00-10:00 Start to clean the cages and enclosure ,as well as cracking bamboos,carry out the leftovers, etc. 10:00-11:00 Walk around other panda enclosures to see the adorable black and white animals 11:00-11:30 Feed the panda with bamboo or other food, like carrot, panda cake and apple. 11:30-13:00 Lunch break 13:00-14:00 Watch a panda documentary to learn more about the scientific facts and the life of panda. 14:00-15:00 Clean cages and feed pandas again 15:00-15:30  Make panda cakes and be issued the certificate of panda volunteer 15:30-17:00 Drive back to downtown Chengdu Pls notice that this is a rough schedule for the day tour, it may be affected by the panda’s conditions.

Our English guides are experienced and knowledgeable. They are still sticking with inbound tourism after the 3 years hard time. A lot of English guides gave up tourism during the past 3 years and changed their jobs. However, we still kept the most experienced guide and they are really know what to do with their jobs. We provides 4 options for clients with different demands. If you want to see the more active pandas with less crowds, you can choose the option 1 to visit Dujiangyan panda base and irrigation park as a day tour. However, if you have already seen the pandas before and you like hiking in the nature, please choose the option 2 to visit the UNESCO's natural and cultural heritage-Mt. Qingcheng and Dujiangyan irrigation system. Furthermore, if you only need a private transfer to those attractions, please select the option 3 and 4

Dujianyan Panda Base is one of the few bases offer panda volunteer program in China. The full day program include panda food making and features of documentary video of releasing panda to the wildness. The Dujiangyan Irrigation System is originally constructed around 256BC by the State of Qin as an irrigation and flood control project, it is still in use today. The system’s infrastructure is on the Min River,the longest tributary of the Yangtze.
