Book your roundtrip transportation in advance and relax as we take you by air-conditioned bus to the National Aviary in Barú. We will pick you up at the corner of the Juan Valdez cafeteria in the convention center early in the morning and begin your journey to Barú while admiring the panoramic views of the city and the sea. Upon arrival you will purchase the entrance to the Aviary. Once there we will begin to discover the aerial fauna of the country. There we will have the opportunity to meet all kinds of birds in their natural state and we will learn about each of the species. Throughout the tour of the aviary. Once we finish being fascinated by the toucans, flamingos and other species that we see, we will take the minibus again to head to Playa Blanca where you can have fun sunbathing and take a dip in the sea. We will leave at 3:00 p.m. for a comfortable trip back to the walled city.

We will meet for 1 hour at the first bar at 8:30 pm to congregate and converse. We will then proceed to the next bars every hour, finally finishing off at the club by 12:15 am. Sometimes locals also come on our crawls, so you may have the opportunity to connect with some Colombians and practice your Spanish!

Our Sunday tour in La Candelaria begins at 11:00 am. La Candelaria is one of the most emblematic neighborhoods of Bogotá. It’s history is rich and reflects the urban and cultural development of the city over the centuries. The streets of this neighborhood reflect the contrast between modern and colony times, with large buildings and colorful colonial houses. We will start our tour by visiting a coffee shop specialized in Colombian regional coffee. After that, we will take a walk through the center and stop in different places of historic interest such as “El Chorro de Quevedo”, “La Concordia Food Market”, “San Alejo Fly Market”, and “Plaza de Bolivar”. Our third stop will be a typical Colombian food restaurant for lunch. Finally, we will finish at one of the best pubs in Bogotá with a 2×1 discount for the first pint.
